Whether you’re interested in seeing who voices the main crew in Black Ops 7 Zombies, or you want to put names to faces and familiar roles to the Campaign, we’ve got all the information you need as you prepare to embrace the madness.
Nolan North as Edward Richtofen
Who Plays Richtofen in Black Ops 7?
Edward Richtofen is the brilliantly scheming and egotistical doctor, the man who seems to always lead his crew with confidence, sadism, and a shroud of uncertainty. The crew might not trust Richtofen, but he seems to be the only one who knows what he’s doing. Edward Richtofen is once again played by Nolan North, a veteran of the character who has played Richtofen since 2008’s Call of Duty: World at War. Nolan North is an icon, and through the German accent of Richtofen, they might recognize his voice as Ghost from Destiny 2, Nathan Drake from Uncharted, and practically every video game they’ve ever played.
Steve Blum as Tank Dempsey
Who Plays Dempsey in Black Ops 7?
Oorah! Dempsey is back, and hopefully as loud and burly as ever before. Dempsey was a stereotypical American gung-ho soldier who loved breaking the fourth wall in his Ultimis variation, but it seems this new version is a Marine who survived Vietnam. Steve Blum always brings great grit and sarcasm to Tank Dempsey, which is why it’s great to see him reprise his role. Steve Blum has also played Dempsey since Call of Duty: World at War, and fans might recognize his iconic deep voice as Wolverine across various Marvel animated shows and video games (more recently, Marvel Rivals), or as Zeb Orrelios for Star Wars: Rebels fans, and even as the English voice of Spike Spiegel in Cowboy Bebop!
Fred Tatasciore as Nikolai Belinski
Who Plays Nikolai in Black Ops 7?
Nikolai Belinski has had two variations in the past. Firstly, as a Vodka-mad and wife-killing obsessed Russian, and secondly as a hardened soldier burdened with the purpose to reset the multiverse and banish all its horrors into the Dark Aether, with himself and his friends included. Now, Nikolai returns as a Soviet tank commander, a man with immense bitterness, dark humor, and strength. These traits can be portrayed by none other than Fred Tatasciore, the man who’s been voicing Nikolai since Call of Duty: World at War. Fred Tatasciore has many notable voice acting credits, like as The Hulk across many Marvel animated shows and games (more recently, Marvel Rivals), or as Megatron in Transformers: Fall of Cybertron.
Nelson Lee as Takeo Masaki
Who Plays Takeo in Black Ops 7?
Takeo Masaki has always been burdened and blinded by his own loyalties to Japan and the Emperor, but what if Takeo were disgraced? This new version of Takeo was a wandering ronin in Feudal Japan, with no master or honor to weigh him down, but that weight is replaced with a need for redemption. Sadly, Tom Kane cannot reprise his role as Takeo, a role he has been playing since Call of Duty: World at War. Tom Kane, unfortunately, suffered a stroke in 2020 and has since retired. Treyarch Studios has respectfully entrusted the role of Takeo Masaki to Nelson Lee, an actor mostly known for his live-action roles as Tony in Alex Garland’s Civil War (2024) and Senator Xiono in Star Wars: Ahsoka. When it came to filling the shoes of Tom Kane, Lee had this to say:
Gene Farber as Grigori Weaver
Who Plays Weaver in Black Ops 7?
A Russian who became a CIA agent, Weaver was imperative in stopping the advancement of a nuclear armageddon, but a hero like this doesn’t rest easy, especially not after a fatal mistake that cost the lives of an innocent woman and child. After fixing his mistake and making amends with Richtofen, Weaver continues to lead his hardened team through the Dark Aether in order to ensure the survival of those closest to him. Gene Farber voices Weaver once again, a role he first played in Call of Duty: Black Ops back in 2010. Fans might physically remember Gene Farber for his role as Karpov in the MCU from Captain America: Civil War (2016) and The Falcon and The Winter Soldier.
Abigail Marlowe as Elizabeth Grey
Who Plays Grey in Black Ops 7?
A brilliant scientist who was happier in her lab, years of imprisonment and isolation saw Grey adapt to survive, building her body into that of a warrior to ensure she was equal parts brain to brawn. Grey will find no comfort in the Dark Aether, not when Samantha Maxis is dead. The grief and discomfort felt by Grey will be present in Abigail Marlowe’s portrayal, who voices a few characters in Arcane, like Cassandra Kiramman and Renni, along with some smaller live-action roles in Brooklyn Nine-Nine and The Equalizer 2 (2018).
Chantelle Barry as Maya Aguinaldo
Who Plays Maya in Black Ops 7?
Maya has the street smarts to survive the real world, which is why the Dark Aether might not come as that much of a challenge for her. With Maya’s brother avenged, she’s sticking around with this new crew to further seal the bond. Witty and snarky, Maya’s quick tongue is played once again by Chantelle Barry, who has a voice players might recognize as The Dowser in Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, and as Tzofi in The Chosen.
Keston John as Mackenzie Carver
Who Plays Carver in Black Ops 7?
Military excellence runs in Carver’s DNA, which is why the dishonorable stripping of his rank remains a scar that fuels his rage against the undead. Carver fights to restore his reputation and keep his friends alive, and this protector needs to follow his own rules if he’s to make it out of the Dark Aether. Keston John lends his talents to Carver, and players might recognize this actor for his work as Darnell James in In the Dark, as well as the voice and performance behind Tarsem in Avatar: The Way of Water.
Milo Ventimiglia as David Mason
Who Plays Section in Black Ops 7?
The protagonist of Black Ops 2 returns for the lead role in Black Ops 7‘s Campaign, and to continue the legacy of Alex Mason. David was the Lieutenant Commander who aided in the capture and killing of Raul Menendez, the canon ending to Black Ops 2. Codenamed Section, David continues to work in the US Military under his own unit, Specter One, with his scars beginning to surface. Milo Ventimiglia is David Mason, a new casting for the character, but fans might recognize his work as Jack Pearson in This Is Us and Peter Petrelli in Heroes.
Michael Rooker as Mike Harper
Who Plays Harper in Black Ops 7?
You can’t have David Mason without his best bromance buddy, Mike Harper. Harper is a great friend and a loyal soldier who will always serve to fight another day. Harper’s addicted to the heat of battle, and the adrenaline he feels is like no other when he’s fighting for his country and what’s right. This confidence, charm, and gung-ho attitude are returning features from the iconic Michael Rooker, who played the character previously in Black Ops 2. Michael Rooker has extensive credits, such as Yondu in the Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy from James Gunn, and Merle Dixon from AMC’s The Walking Dead.
John Eric Bentley as Eric Samules
Who Plays Samuels in Black Ops 7?
Samuels was once part of the Presidential protection team with the Secret Service, but his combat experience with Section made Samuels reevaluate his faith and what it means to be part of a team. Samuels is part of Section’s new team in the Campaign, and his faith in his unit and their methods is sure to be tested again. Samuels may have had a minor role in Black Ops 2, but fans of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth might recognize John Eric Bentley behind the voice of Barret Wallace, and now, as Samuels.
Leilani “50/50” Tuuola
Who Plays 50/50 in Black Ops 7?
The final piece of the four-person team from Section is Leilani “50/50” Tuuola, a New Zealand native who joins the crew as another confident soldier ready to serve. The future is definitely here with this character, who has cybernetic implants and limbs that are sure to pack a powerful punch. The performance of Leilani “50/50” Tuuola comes from Frankie Adams, who plays Candy in The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart, and Yasmina Rashid in Mortal Engines (2018).
Kiernan Shipka as Emma Kagan
Who Plays Kagan in Black Ops 7?
As the CEO of The Guild, it’s expected that Emma Kagan is up to some pretty shady dealings and experiments. Obsessed with redefining the future and surpassing the limitations of humanity, Kagan serves the best interests of The Guild, and the allegiances of those interests remain to be seen. Kiernan Shipka plays Emma Kagan, a veteran actor who has played iconic characters like Sally Draper in Mad Men and Sabrina Spellman in Netflix’s Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.
Jesse Corti as Menendez
Who Plays Menendez in Black Ops 7?
Canonically, Menendez was killed in Black Ops 2, which makes his reappearance a chilling shock. As the leader of Cordis Die, Menendez is now a martyr, and a man who would stop at nothing until America crumbled against its own politics. Menendez’s capacity and importance remain to be seen, but what is known is who’s behind the performance. Kamar de los Reyes will not return as Menendez, as the actor tragically passed in 2023. For Black Ops 7, Menendez will have his performance done by Jesse Corti, who provided the voice of Deadman in Death Stranding, and Lefou in Beauty and the Beast (1991).
