Realme is expected to launch a new C-series phone soon in India. While there is no official confirmation, the latest info suggests the company will be launching the Realme C85 this month in the country. The smartphone recently made its debut alongside the Realme C85 Pro in the international market.
Moreover, the Realme C85 is said to share similar specifications to the Realme 15x; however, it will have a slightly downgraded camera setup. Let’s check what to expect:
Realme C85 India Launch Likely This Month
The latest information comes from tipster Abhishek Yadav, who claims that the Realme C85 will launch in India later this month. While the tipster initially referred to the device as the Realme G85 in his post, he later clarified in the comments that it is actually the Realme C85.
According to him, the device is basically the Realme 15x but with a downgraded camera setup. To recall, Realme launched the 15x last month, featuring a 7000mAh battery that supports 60W SUPERVOOC fast charging. It has a 6.8-inch display with HD+ resolution (1570×720), and 144Hz refresh rate. The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset. The phone also includes a 50MP Sony IMX852 sensor and a 50MP selfie camera.
As noted, the Realme C85 was already available in the global market, which has a 50MP main rear camera and an 8MP front camera. Given that, we expect the Indian variant will have the same set of specifications.
If the launch happens this month, we expect Realme will soon confirm the same. Moreover, the tipster suggests Redmi is also planning to launch the Redmi 15C at the end of this month or next month, while the Redmi Note 15 series is expected to arrive in January.
