Realme has officially confirmed the India launch date for its upcoming flagship, the Realme GT 8 Pro. The smartphone will debut in the country on November 20 at 12 PM IST, nearly a month after its unveiling in China on October 21.

Powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5
The Realme GT 8 Pro will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, the company’s flagship 3nm chipset that also powers the Chinese variant. It will be paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, ensuring faster memory access and improved multitasking. The device will also include a dedicated Hyper Vision+ AI chip to enhance display rendering and camera processing.
2K Display and 120W Charging
Realme has confirmed that the phone will feature a 2K resolution display with a 144Hz refresh rate and an impressive 7,000 nits of peak brightness. To handle heat during heavy usage, the GT 8 Pro will include a 7,000 sq mm vapor chamber cooling system.
The phone’s 7,000mAh Titan Battery supports 120W wired fast charging, with Realme claiming it can deliver “all-day power” after just 15 minutes of charge. Based on the company’s internal estimates, users can expect up to 7.6 hours of BGMI gameplay, 21 hours of YouTube playback, or 523 hours of standby time.
Camera and Design Details
The Realme GT 8 Pro takes an unconventional route with its camera design this time. The phone features a triple rear camera setup co-engineered with Ricoh GR, but what sets it apart is its modular camera system. Each unit comes with a small screwdriver in the box, allowing users to physically detach and swap the camera module themselves.

Out of the box, the GT 8 Pro ships with a circular “Oreo-style” module, while a rectangular alternative can be purchased separately. Realme has confirmed that customers buying the phone through offline Realme Stores will receive this rectangular module at no additional cost (via).
Design-wise, the phone sticks to Realme’s clean, industrial aesthetic with a metal frame, a hole-punch front camera, and a weight of around 214 grams. It also carries an IP69 rating for dust and water resistance and runs Android 16-based Realme UI 7.0 right out of the box.
