Samsung Tri-Fold has been the talk of the town for several days. The South Korean tech giant has today showcased its tri-fold to the public for the first time at the Samsung Electronics booth at the ‘K-Tech Showcase’, a side event of the APEC CEO Summit held at the Gyeongju Expo Park Air Dome.
Samsung Galaxy Tri-fold – What Is in Store?
The Galaxy Tri-fold phone was seen with its dual-hinge design, allowing it to fold in two places. Its screen ratio is notably taller than it is wide, giving it the look and feel of a compact tablet PC.

Unlike standard foldables, this device features three external screens arranged side by side. The outer display measures around 6.5 inches, similar to the Galaxy Fold series, but when fully unfolded, it expands into a large 10-inch display – offering a tablet-like viewing experience.
It’s also worth noting that the Samsung Galaxy Tri-fold is tipped to be dubbed as the Galaxy Z TriFold, as suggested by Max Jambo. Since there is no official word on the same, we’d suggest you to take this with a pinch of salt.
Samsung Galaxy Tri-fold Launch (Expected)
The exact launch date for the Galaxy Tri-fold is still under wraps, but the device is expected to debut later this month in select countries. Samsung Electronics is reportedly planning an initial production run of around 50,000 to 100,000 units for the new device.
As Samsung continues to refine its foldable technology, it remains committed to delivering cutting-edge products that cater to evolving consumer needs. The company’s focus on innovation ensures that it stays ahead in the competitive smartphone market.
