Jujutsu Kaisen is a battle shonen anime, so it’s only natural for core characters like Gojo Satoru to face powerful opponents along the way. Armed with the Six Eyes and the Limitless, Gojo Satoru is an absolute force of nature, with power so strong that no sorcerer, curse user, or cursed spirit can easily kill him through conventional means.
Jujutsu Kaisen: Gege Has Already Revealed Sukuna’s Two Equals
Sukuna has two equals in the JJK series. Gege reveals their identities.
For most of Jujutsu Kaisen, Gojo Satoru remained undefeated until his final clash with Ryomen Sukuna. Though he took on Sukuna, several of Jujutsu Kaisen’s strongest characters never had the chance to fight Gojo. If Gojo had fought these powerful characters, their battles would have been nothing short of legendary.
Dabura Karaba
Dabura Arrives Too Late to Fight Gojo
Gojo Satoru’s untimely demise at the hands of Ryomen Sukuna robbed him of a chance of squaring off against Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo’s Dabura Karaba. Though the sequel is set roughly 68 years after the events of the original series, it’s not impossible for Gojo to appear alive and well had he survived the fight with Sukuna in the modern era.
Going back, Dabura Karaba is an absolute force of nature in Modulo. As the strongest Simurian and the champion of all Deskunte, even Jujutsu sorcerers fear him. His presence alone is a warning to Earthlings that he can repeat Sukuna’s rampage when necessary.
Though Dabura never fought adult Yuji Itadori, his performance in the fight with the Divine General Mahoraga tells a lot about his exceptional combat power and intellect. Not only did he unleash a light-based CT, but he also mastered the Reverse Cursed Technique and even activated a Domain Expansion in the heat of battle.
Maru
Maru and Gojo Share Similarities
Just like Dabura, Maru is a Simurian who recently appeared in Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo. He is widely regarded as one of the strongest in the JJK sequel, rumored to be Gojo Satoru’s second coming in the early chapter releases of the manga due to his appearance and powerful techniques.
However, Maru has no connection to Gojo Satoru at all, debunking those rumors. Also, his powers are on a completely different level but have no direct connection to Gojo’s abilities. In fact, Maru’s cursed technique is unlike anything fans have ever seen before, with Chaos itself dismantling the natural laws. As fans have noticed, Maru possessed a third eye, which is crucial in his CT.
Additionally, Maru is a capable swordsman, strong enough to hold his own against Tsurugi and Rika by himself. Armed with Cross’ sword, he proves how strong a Rumellian warrior can be.
Mahito
Gojo Almost Faced Mahito
Gojo and Mahito came so close to fighting each other in Shibuya, but Gojo’s sealing ultimately prevented their clash. It could have been an unforgettable fight if there weren’t any intervention from Mahito’s group, with Gojo being the clear winner.
With that out of the way, Mahito left a lasting impact on fans because of his misdeeds that Yuji Itadori found to be unforgivable. On top of that, his combat prowess is second to none, being able to overwhelm multiple jujutsu sorcerers at once. Worse, he’s the type of villain who grows stronger in battle, much like Jinwoo, who levels up on the spot.
Dealing with Mahito’s Idle Transfiguration is nothing short of a nightmare too. By reshaping people’s souls and disfiguring their physical bodies, Mahito could pass as a lead star in a body horror film with his creations.

Yuji Itadori
Gojo Raised Yuji to Be a Fine Sorcerer
Gojo Satoru would have been proud of Yuji Itadori and what he has become in JJK Modulo. His student definitely met, if not surpassed, his expectations, as he now bears the title of being the strongest sorcerer in the series.
Adult Yuji Itadori is on a completely different level, and it’s safe to say that only Dabura Karaba could fight him on equal footing. In fact, he grew so strong that Mahito, who surprisingly appeared in the sequel, couldn’t scratch him anymore.
Yuta Okkotsu
Gojo Recognizes Yuta’s Potential
Gojo Satoru speaks highly of Yuta Okkotsu and his potential to surpass him. He genuinely believes that Yuta has all the makings to become a sorcerer who’s strong enough to win against him and claim the title of the strongest Jujutsu sorcerer someday.
True enough, Yuta Okkotsu did not disappoint Gojo, as the man himself continued Gojo’s legacy and demonstrated incredible mastery over his cursed techniques. Without Yuta’s copy and his bond with Rika, it could have been more difficult for Yuji and friends to take down Sukuna for good.
Yuki Tsukumo
Yuki and Gojo Are Special Grade Sorcerers
Just like Gojo, Yuki Tsukumo is a special grade sorcerer whose abilities earned the respect of her peers, including those of the likes of Aoi Todo, Choso, and even Tengen. She is quite different from the rest of the sorcerers in Jujutsu High in a way that she doesn’t like to stick around in one place and prefers to work by herself. Her motivations are also different from the others, since she wants to free the world of cursed energy at all costs.
As a special grade sorcerer, Yuki Tsukumo can easily exorcise special grade curses, one of which was owned by the cunning Kenjaku. With her Star Rage cursed technique, Yuki’s close-combat attacks gain more destructive force, and so does her shikigami called Garuda.
Though Yuki did not survive in JJK due to some miscalculations at her and Tengen’s end, the fact that she could destroy the world with a single attack is enough to label her a true monster of overwhelming power.
