All major authors who have long-running manga in Shonen Jump, such as Oda, Horikoshi, and Gege, take breaks. Gege ended up taking breaks more often this year, and fans know that he had to take precautions regarding his health. Coming over to what JJK chapter 269 could entail, fans know that there are many exciting events that the story could tackle, but, above all, JJK chapter 269 is going to cover the plot points surrounding the fate of Yuta Okkotsu. As fans know, Yuta made a big sacrifice in Shinjuku, and essentially, he switched bodies to Gojo in an attempt to defeat the King of Curses.

Of course, this was a valiant attempt and Yuta essentially gave up his own body to accomplish this. However, his attempt failed because the Copy technique that he was banking on ran out. JJK chapter 269 will cover his fate, and fans will soon see whether he is going to survive or not.

In the previous chapter, Yuji set the precedent that Yuta has a shot at his arrival, which means, at the very least, fans can expect him to not die. But, not dying doesn’t mean that he will get the best outcome possible. It is entirely possible that Yuta will stay stuck in Gojo’s body forever, and that certainly wouldn’t bode well for him, because that would mean he would have to part ways with Rika forever. Rika cannot haunt Gojo’s body as she does Yuta’s very own, and this would be a hard pill for Yuta to swallow. On the other hand, JJK chapter 269 could also showcase Yuta switching bodies somehow, potentially using the techniques of Ui Ui, and help from the likes of Shoko. If possible, fans would truly love to see Yuta back in his body, and Gojo’s own body being left alone.

JJK chapter 269 will also confirm the fate of Gojo Satoru officially to the fans. As is clear in the story, Gojo has been killed by the King of Curses. His body was split in half. However, since then, it was stitched together by Shoko, and Yuta utilized reverse cursed technique to heal him. Now, if Yuta successfully manages to leave Gojo, and then, perhaps, Gojo can have another shot at life, slim as the chance may be. It is certainly going to be interesting to see if he does manage to do that, and JJK chapter 269 will be the ultimate one as far as confirming Gojo’s fate goes.

Will Sorcerers Get New Ranks?

Yet another interesting plot point that JJK chapter 269 could tackle is giving the sorcerers new ranks. After the defeat of the King of Curses, the Sorcerers would do well to get higher ranks, with many of them likely moving to Special Grade. Gojo Satoru mentioned once that the new generation would go beyond Special Grade. Unfortunately, this plot point is likely not going to be tackled in the series moving forward, but, at the very least, fans can expect them to move to Special Grade.

This was hinted at in the previous after, when Nobara asked Megumi if he was promoted. Now, JJK chapter 269 could see sorcerers actually get promoted, especially Yuji, who defeated the King of Curses.
