AbhiBus, a prominent online bus ticket booking service in India, has commenced its women-only intercity bus service on the Gurugram-Chandigarh route, effective March 8.
This initiative, branded under YoloBus, aims to provide a safer and more convenient travel option for female passengers, featuring a female conductor to enhance assistance and comfort during the journey. Rohit Sharma, COO of AbhiBus, remarked, “In the past three months, we have observed a 54% year-on-year increase in bookings from female travelers, with solo female traveler bookings rising by 50% year-on-year.”
The introduction of the women-only YoloBus service is part of our commitment to empower female travelers, complementing our Pink Seat feature, which reserves specific seats for women on various routes.
