What Games a New Halo Collection Could Have
The games in The Master Chief Collection perfectly show what made people fall in love with Halo, and a new collection can do the same for lesser-known games. Given how it’s going to be focused on spin-offs, there are a few great games that come to mind:
- The twin-stick shooter Halo: Spartan Assault and its sequel Halo: Spartan Strike could be remade for consoles and PC, as both were originally games for mobile devices and tablets
- Halo: Fireteam Raven would translate well from being a coin-operated arcade shooter to PC and consoles. Its more action-packed and chaotic gameplay shares a different side to Halo
- The Halo Wars games deviate from the franchise’s norm by being RTS games, as they have interesting takes on the genre’s gameplay while still managing to incorporate elements of Halo in a recognizable manner
Such titles could produce a collection well worth playing, helping fans try out what they could have missed.
