Ola Electric’s first Roadster X electric motorcycle left its Krishnagiri Futurefactory today, with deliveries set to begin later this month. The company in a regulatory filing said the Roadster X will be priced at Rs 84,999, Rs 94,999, and Rs 1,04,999, with 2.5 kWh, 3.5 kWh, and 4.5 kWh battery packs, respectively.
The Roadster X+ with a 4.5kWh battery costs ₹1,14,999, while the 9.1kWh battery (equipped with the 4680 Bharat Cell) has an impressive range of 501 km per charge and costs ₹1,84,999.
The Roadster X Series’ powertrain features a chain drive and an integrated MCU for efficient torque transfer, resulting in improved acceleration and range.
The motorcycle features a mid-drive motor that improves performance and safety, as well as flat cables that optimize packaging, increase efficiency, reduce weight, and improve thermal performance, resulting in increased overall durability and reliability—an industry-first innovation.

The Roadster X series represents significant advancements in motorcycle technology, including first-in-segment patented brake-by-wire technology with single ABS, as well as smart MoveOS 5 capabilities like advanced regeneration, cruise control, and reverse mode.
The Roadster X series’ battery system is IP67 certified for waterproof and dust-proof protection, features advanced wire bonding technology, and includes a serviceable Battery Management System (BMS) for easy maintenance.
