Apple has officially launched the updated 14-inch MacBook Pro (2025) powered by the new M5 chip, introducing major upgrades in performance, AI computing capabilities, display quality, battery life, and storage speed.
Apple claims the new M5-powered MacBook Pro delivers 3.5x faster AI performance and 1.6x better graphics processing compared to the M4 model. It also supports faster SSD speeds and offers up to 24 hours of battery backup, making it one of the most powerful and efficient laptops in the MacBook Pro lineup.

The new MacBook Pro starts at ₹1,69,900 for the base model, which includes 16GB of Unified Memory and 512GB SSD storage. Apple also offers higher configurations, with the 16GB + 1TB model priced at ₹1,89,900 and the 24GB + 1TB version priced at ₹2,09,900.
The laptop is available in Silver and Space Black colour options. Pre-orders are now open in India, with sales scheduled to begin on October 22. Students can take advantage of a ₹10,000 discount through the Apple Education Store, making the device more affordable for academic users.

The laptop ships with a 70W USB-C power adapter, while users can choose an optional 96W adapter for faster charging.
