A new leak from Fortnite is hinting at some major details about the heavily-rumored crossover with Star Wars, suggesting that a new Mandalorian event will be connected to the battle royale. The massively popular shooter from Epic Games has already brought some of the biggest franchises in pop culture to the game throughout recent months. Fortnite launched its newest mini-season as a huge crossover with The Simpsons, while the previous “Fortnitemares” event brought fan-favorites like Scooby-Doo and Friday the 13th to the game. Fortnite is now teasing a new collab with one of the biggest pop culture brands in the world.

While Fortnite shifts its focus to The Simpsons, a new customization feature has sparked leaks about some huge new crossovers. Leaks have suggested that Fortnite may be preparing some new Disney collaboration cosmetics for its new Sidekicks, allowing Disney to add characters it doesn’t want holding guns. Fortnite has previously featured some Disney characters as in-game skins, particularly with Chapter 5’s “Disney Villains Set” adding Maleficent, Cruella de Vil, and Captain Hook. Now, even more content from a Disney-owned property is coming in the near future.

A new update shared by prominent Fortnite leaker HYPEX is teasing more details about a future Star Wars collab. According to the leak, a new Mandalorian and Grogu mission for Disney’s “Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run” ride is set to feature some kind of connection to Fortnite. Disney also reportedly referred to its “stories evolving across movies, games, and attractions,” suggesting that the Fortnite collaboration will be tied into a greater Star Wars story. The post did not reveal any specific details about the Star Wars collaboration with Fortnite, nor did it confirm a release date.

Fortnite Leak Hints at Star Wars Collab

Fortnite‘s new collaboration with Star Wars is far from the first time the battle royale has teamed up with the iconic sci-fi franchise. Fortnite featured a full mini-season based on Star Wars at the halfway point of Chapter 6, adding everything from lightsabers to an AI Darth Vader to the game. The battle royale has also introduced an expansive array of skins based on Star Wars, including beloved characters like Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, and Han Solo with a wide variety of others.

Fortnite reveals a new game mode called Blitz Royale is coming on June 18.

Alongside the rumored Star Wars crossover, Fortnite looks to have a wealth of high-profile collaborations coming soon. One of the biggest names recently tied to Fortnite has been Harry Potter, with the battle royale said to be adding crossover content during the upcoming Season 7. Other franchises like South Park, Silent Hill, and SpongeBob SquarePants have also been among the potential crossovers rumored to be hitting the battle royale throughout the coming months. Fortnite fans could potentially have loads of exciting crossover content arriving to the shooter with the advent of Season 7.
