iQOO appears to be expanding its flagship lineup once again. After the recent launch of the iQOO 15 in China, the brand is reportedly testing a compact version called the iQOO 15 Mini. According to reliable tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS), the device is now in internal testing, giving us an early look at what could be one of iQOO’s most interesting small-form flagships yet.

A Compact Flagship in the Works
The leak suggests that the iQOO 15 Mini will feature a 6.31-inch display, making it noticeably smaller than most Android flagships today. It’s said to be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 Plus, a chipset that hasn’t been officially announced yet but is expected to be an upgraded version of the Dimensity 9500 launched in October.
If MediaTek’s launch cycle is anything to go by, the D9500+ could debut around April next year — which lines up with speculation that the iQOO 15 Mini might launch in Q2 2026 in China.
Early Specs and Battery Hints
While the company hasn’t shared any official details, an earlier leak hinted that the iQOO 15 Mini could include a 7,000mAh battery, which would be unusually large for a compact device. That could make it one of the most battery-efficient small Android phones in its segment if the claim holds true.
Design-wise, the phone is expected to retain the same aesthetic language as the standard iQOO 15, with a symmetrical rear camera layout and a flat display.
Dimensity 9500+ and Expected Competition
The upcoming Dimensity 9500+ is likely an overclocked variant of the D9500, promising better sustained performance and improved thermals. That would put the iQOO 15 Mini in direct competition with phones like the OnePlus 15T, Honor Magic Mini, Oppo Find X9s, and Vivo X300s — all of which are expected to arrive around the same time.
