Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 AI and 16S AI Gaming Laptops Launched in India: Check Pricing and Specifications

Acer has introduced the Predator Helios Neo 16 AI and Predator Helios Neo 16S AI laptops in India. These devices incorporate artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities and are equipped with the latest hardware. They feature Intel Core Ultra 9 processors and Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Laptop GPUs, making them suitable for gaming enthusiasts. The laptops support Nvidia DLSS 4, fourth-generation ray tracing, and Reflex 2 technologies.

Specifications and Features

The Predator Helios Neo 16 AI boasts a 16-inch WQXGA IPS display with a refresh rate of 240Hz, a response time of 1ms, brightness of 500 nits, and full DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage. In contrast, the Predator Helios Neo 16S AI offers a WQXGA OLED screen with a screen-to-body ratio of 90 percent. It is designed as a more compact gaming solution with an 18.9mm sleek profile.

Both models are powered by up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor, paired with up to 64 GB of DDR5 RAM and up to 2TB of PCIe Gen4 SSD storage. The Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Laptop GPU enhances their capability to handle graphic-intensive applications, delivering an impressive AI performance of 992 tera operations per second (TOPS).

Advanced Cooling System

To manage heat efficiently, these laptops are equipped with an advanced cooling system that includes a fifth-generation AeroBlade 3D fan, liquid metal thermal grease, and vector heat pipes. Users can personalise their devices with a four-zone RGB keyboard and customisable RGB cover logo.

The Acer Predator Helios Neo series supports Nvidia DLSS 4 technology which features Multi-Frame Generation, enhanced Ray Reconstruction, and Super Resolution. The Nvidia Blackwell architecture enables full ray tracing through neural rendering.

Connectivity Options

Connectivity options on these new gaming laptops include Thunderbolt 4 ports, HDMI 2.1 output, Wi-Fi 6E support, Ethernet connectivity as well as USB Type-C ports. Users can control both models using the PredatorSense custom utility app which provides access to system health monitoring tools along with overclocking capabilities via a dedicated Copilot key.

In India, the Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 AI is priced starting at Rs. 2,29,999 while the Predator Helios Neo 16S AI begins at Rs. 1,54,999. These laptops will be available for purchase through various platforms including Acer Exclusive Stores, Acer E-store, Amazon, Croma, Flipkart, Reliance Digital, and Vijay Sales.

The global launch of the Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 AI took place in February earlier this year.
