A popular Fortnite leaker has surprised fans by revealing that a third wave of Stranger Things cosmetics could be coming to Epic Games’ popular battle royale in the near future. Fortnite has been busy organizing a wide variety of collaborations lately, as its recent Halloween event featured crossovers with franchises like Friday the 13th, Black Phone, Scooby-Doo, and more.
Epic Games recently released Fortnite‘s Simpsons mini-season, which features a whole new map packed with iconic locations from the long-running television show. The battle pass is also crammed with Simpsons cosmetics, as fans can finally get their hands on skins for characters like Marge Simpson, Homer Simpson, and Ned Flanders. Fortnite has also introduced some original skins, like a new version of Peely in the art style of The Simpsons. While many players are enjoying the mini-season, it’s only sticking around through the end of November. After that, Epic Games will be dropping Chapter 7 of the popular battle royale, which will likely feature another brand-new map and plenty of fresh content.
Stranger Things’ Dustin Could Be Coming to Fortnite
In a recent post on Twitter, the prominent leaker ShiinaBR revealed fans could see another crossover between Fortnite and Stranger Things in the near future. According to the leaker, dataminers have discovered a LEGO model in the files that could be related to the character Dustin from Stranger Things. The model shows a hat with curly hair underneath, though it isn’t attached to a full figure. While Fortnite has collaborated with Stranger Things in the past, only Eleven, Jim Hopper, and the Demogorgon are currently in the game. With Dustin potentially coming to the title, some fans believe this could be a larger wave of Stranger Things cosmetics than Epic Games has released in the past.
While there’s no way of knowing exactly when the crossover might release, Netflix has announced that Season 5 of Stranger Things will make its debut on November 26 with Volume 1. On December 25, fans will be able to experience Volume 2 of Season 5, which will be followed by the finale on December 31. While that’s a decent window of time, it does mean fans could see this new wave of Stranger Things cosmetics come to the game before the end of 2025.
With the upcoming release of Chapter 7, a lot of rumors have been swirling around the internet, giving players some idea of what might be coming to Fortnite in the near future. For instance, leakers have claimed that Fortnite could be collaborating with Harry Potter. Some leakers have also claimed that Epic Games is currently working on a collaboration with SpongeBob SquarePants. With so much content to enjoy and even more just around the corner, many fans are feeling optimistic about the future of Fortnite.
