Oppo may finally bring its most premium flagship to global audiences next year. According to a new leak, the Find X9 Ultra, which sits at the top of Oppo’s Find-series lineup, is set to make its worldwide debut by late Q1 2026 — a move that could expand the company’s high-end footprint beyond China.

Oppo’s Flagship Strategy Is Evolving
Traditionally, Oppo launches three Find-series flagships — the standard, Pro, and Ultra models — but only the first two typically reach global markets. That could change next year. Tech tipster Yogesh Brar recently shared on X that the Find X9 Ultra will launch globally by early 2026, marking a shift in Oppo’s approach to international flagship rollouts.
The leak also suggests that Oppo’s decision to bring the Ultra to India will depend on how well the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro perform in the country. Both phones are expected to arrive later this month, though the exact India launch date hasn’t been confirmed yet.
What to Expect from the Find X9 Ultra
While Oppo hasn’t shared official details yet, multiple reports outline what we might see. The Find X9 Ultra is rumored to feature a 6.8-inch OLED 2K display with a 120Hz refresh rate, offering an immersive visual experience. It may also include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor and run ColorOS 16 based on Android 16.
Powering it all could be Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with a 7,000mAh battery supporting 80W wired and 50W wireless charging.
On the camera front, leaks point to a 200MP Sony IMX09E primary sensor with optical image stabilization, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and two 50MP periscope telephoto lenses for zoom versatility. Selfies might be handled by a 50MP front camera, keeping parity with some of the best camera phones out there.
Taking on the Ultra Flagship Segment
With these specs, the Find X9 Ultra will likely go up against some of 2026’s most anticipated devices — including the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, Xiaomi 17 Ultra, and Vivo X300 Ultra.
If Oppo does follow through with a global release, it’ll mark a significant step in challenging the dominance of Samsung in the high-end Android market. The company has already earned praise for its design and imaging innovation, and bringing the Ultra variant overseas could help it compete more directly in regions like Europe and India.
