We have got some interesting news on the upcoming POCO F8 series, especially the POCO F8 Pro. A new leak shared by tipster Abhishek Yadav shows packaging that clearly mentions “Sound by Bose.” If accurate, this could mark POCO’s first collaboration with the audio giant, bringing enhanced tuning for its stereo speakers.

The same leak also confirms something less exciting for buyers — there’s no charger in the box this time.
What the Leak Suggests
The image shows the retail box of the POCO F8 Pro with the familiar yellow-black design. Along with the Bose branding, the box reportedly omits the adapter, suggesting POCO may be following the growing industry trend of removing in-box chargers.
This wouldn’t be surprising, considering the brand’s past strategy of rebranding Redmi models for global markets. The F8 Pro is rumored to be based on the Redmi K90, which launched in China last month. Interestingly, the K90 does include a charger.
Likely a Rebranded Redmi K90
If the leaks are accurate, the POCO F8 Pro will closely mirror the Redmi K90. Based on the official specs, here’s what we can expect from POCO’s global version:
- A 6.59-inch 2K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision support, and up to 3,500 nits peak brightness for crisp visuals.
- The Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB UFS 4.0 storage.
- A triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP main sensor with OIS and EIS, an 8MP ultra-wide lens with a 120° field of view, and a 50MP telephoto lens offering 2.5x optical zoom and 8K video recording.
- A 20MP front camera for selfies and video calls.
- A 7,100mAh battery with 100W fast charging and 22.5W reverse wired charging.
- Stereo speakers tuned by Bose, complete with Hi-Res Audio certification.
- Extra features such as IP68 dust and water resistance, a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, and an infrared blaster for added convenience.
What’s Next
Alongside the F8 Pro, POCO is also said to be working on an F8 Ultra model and a new POCO Pad X1 tablet — both reportedly spotted in certification listings. The F8 lineup could launch globally soon, though POCO hasn’t confirmed any dates yet.
