Lava has announced the Agni 4, a follow-up to its homegrown flagship line, and the company is positioning it as a step forward in design, performance, and on-device AI. The phone will be available on Amazon starting November 25 at ₹22,999 with bank offers applied.

Built Around Vayu AI
The biggest shift this year is Lava’s new Vayu AI system. Instead of being tucked away inside apps, it sits directly on the home screen as a conversational layer. It handles learning tools, text correction, call summaries, content extraction, and visual tasks like cut-outs or object removal. Circle-to-search and voice-based system controls are also part of the setup.
Metal Frame and a Simpler Design
The Agni 4 uses an aluminum alloy frame with a matte glass back. It’s available in Phantom Black and Lunar Mist, and the bezels are kept slim at around 1.7 mm. The design doesn’t chase anything flashy, but it does sit a little above what’s typical in the mid-range segment.
Dimensity 8350 With LPDDR5X and UFS 4.0
Under the hood, the device runs MediaTek’s Dimensity 8350 chipset with a claimed AnTuTu score above 1.4 million. It comes with 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM, expandable to 16GB, and 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage. There’s also a vapor chamber cooling system to manage longer gaming sessions.
Display and Cameras
The phone carries a 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness up to 2400 nits. That should help with outdoor visibility, especially in strong sunlight.
On the camera side, there’s a 50MP OIS main sensor paired with an 8MP ultrawide lens. The front camera is also 50MP. Both sides support 4K 60fps recording, which is not something you see often in this price range.
Battery, Durability, and Software
A 5000mAh battery with 66W charging sits inside, rated to hit fifty percent in roughly nineteen minutes. The phone includes IP64 splash resistance, Gorilla Glass protection, and wet-touch support for the display. It ships with Android 15 and avoids third-party bloatware. Lava is promising three Android upgrades and four years of security patches.
Price and Availability
Lava is selling the Agni 4 in a single 8GB and 256GB configuration. The buy-box price is listed at ₹24,999, but there’s a ₹2,000 instant offer on all major debit and credit cards. With that applied, the effective price comes down to ₹22,999.
The phone will be available in Phantom Black and Lunar Mist, and the sale begins November 25 at 12 PM, exclusively on Amazon. Lava is also extending a few after-sales benefits, including free at-home replacement for manufacturing defects during the warranty period.
