From tutorial completion to main gameplay, fighting mobs is a big part of The Forge. Therefore, weapons are needed to get the job done quickly. The interesting part of the game is that players go through the entire weapon-smithing process, from gathering ores to smelting them in the mini-game, before using the fighting equipment to defend against vile creatures. With so many options available, it can naturally feel confusing to pick the best weapons in The Forge, which is where this tier list helps by ranking the strongest picks down to the weakest.

Updated on January 20, 2026, by Somiya Adrees: With new fighting tools added to Roblox The Forge, we’ve updated the Weapons Tier List guide with revised rankings and information on the current meta, and included screenshots demonstrating the best weapons.
The Forge Weapons Tier List
All weapons in The Forge have three core stats: damage per hit, attack speed, and area of attack. While creating this tier list, we took these stats into account and sorted the equipment based on how balanced they are overall. To use this list, simply check which weapon blueprints you have available in the game, then craft according to the ranking below.
SS-tier weapons are the best right now, and you can easily beat bosses with them. S-tier fighting equipment comes next and performs well across all three worlds, especially when crafted with Legendary and Mythical ores that offer passive traits.
A-tier weapons are great, too, and some of them deal serious damage (for example, Dragon Slayer does 22 damage per shot), but they attack more slowly, which makes them less efficient than S-tier options. Excalibur is also slower, but it has the highest DPS in the game, which is why it sits in the S-tier; you can simply enchant it to increase its attack speed. That said, if you go with slower A-tier weapons, equipping ATK SPD runes is a must to make them better.
B-tier weapons are good enough to handle smaller mobs in Stonewake’s Cross and the Forgotten Kingdom, while C-tier combat tools (mostly daggers) are the least powerful in the game and might only be used if no better option is available at the time.

Best The Forge Weapons, Explained
In this Roblox game, there are 54 weapons that fighters can craft, spread across 10 main categories. Here’s the ideal combat build for anyone, whether they’re just starting out or already in the end-game.
Early-game Weapon Build
Players in Stonewake’s Cross don’t get many fighting equipment options, but there are still a few worth using. At this stage, the best early-game weapons in The Forge are the Gauntlet (with Ironhand taking priority over Boxing Gloves since it’s faster). Other well-grounded weapon options for World One include the Falchion. It’s best to avoid other straight-sword variants or sword categories like Katana and Great Axe, as they have slower attack speeds, which can leave you vulnerable to enemy hits and stuns.
With the recommended build, you can defeat the monsters inside the Goblin Cave. To craft them, you’ll need 9 Poopite for a Gauntlet or 6 Poopite for a Falchion. Poopite is a top starter ore, thanks to its high multiplier and poison damage passive, which makes it a better choice than other World One minerals.
All Ore List, Price, and How to Get Them in The Forge (Roblox)
Maximize your mining potential in The Forge Roblox! This complete ore list reveals prices, drop rates, and locations for ores across all game areas.
Mid-game Weapon Build
As expected, reaching the Forgotten Kingdom unlocks new blade varieties, but the mobs get slightly more aggressive. A Falchion or Ironhand with upgraded World Two ores can be strong, but the Rapier and Chaos are the best mid-game weapons in The Forge because of their fast attacks/ damage. They can take down Volcanic Depths mobs in two to three hits, but only if they’re smitten at masterwork quality using the right materials.
For the highest damage, try creating a Rapier or Chaos with 6 Darkryte, Demonite, and/or Magmite. Since these ores are extremely rare, Eye Ores, Rivalite, Fireite, or Lightite are good alternatives. The first three also add passives like fire damage, physical damage, and crit chance. If you like close-range combat, the Relevator can be crafted as well.
Late-game Weapon Build
For warriors in World Three, Frostspire Expanse, the best late-game weapon in The Forge is, hands down, the Knight Spear, Compass Spear, or the Angelic Spear. These have one of the fastest attack speeds and the widest area of attack, plus high damage. You just need ores with big multipliers and your preferred passives to make them a true one-shot killer, such as Snowite and/or Iceite.
If you’ve discovered The Peak, you can gather any of the native minerals, as they’re all superior, especially Suryafal, Heavenite, and Gargantuan. If not, aim for Dark Knight’s Gauntlets or the Hook Blade (both purchasable from the Maze Merchant), or go with other spears like the Trident, common Spear, or Demonic Spear using the same ores. Since coming to this island also adds fresh weapon recipes to World 2, players can swap out the Rapier and Chaos for the Candy Cane or Hell Slayer (if it was already purchased during the Winter update). Excalibur is a solid option as well, but it takes longer to charge, so boosting its ATK SPD stats is suggested if you decide to use it.
