Vivo has officially confirmed the launch of the V70 series in India. The line-up will include the Vivo V70 and the Vivo V70 Elite. The upcoming Vivo V70 Series combines design-focused hardware, ZEISS-tuned cameras and Qualcomm processing, aiming to offer flagship-level features in slimmer bodies suited to everyday lifestyle use.
Both Vivo V70 and Vivo V70 Elite share a common focus on imaging and durability, while the Elite model pushes performance further. The series features Sony sensors with ZEISS optimization, a 6500mAh battery with 90W fast charging, and IP68 plus IP69 ratings, positioning the phones for heavy use and demanding Indian conditions.

Vivo V70 Series India Launch
While there’s no official launch date for the Vivo V70 series in India, we expect the two phones to debut in the country sometime around mid-February 2026. Vivo recently teased the launch of the Vivo V70 series, which confirms the Vivo V70 Elite will feature the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip and ZEISS optics.
We expect the Vivo V70 price in India to start from under Rs 40,000, while the Vivo V70 Elite could fetch a starting price of under Rs 50,000. The Vivo V70 Elite will sit just under the recently launched X200T.
Vivo V70 Series Specifications: What to Expect
Vivo states that the Vivo V70 will use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset. The Vivo V70 Elite will feature the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC instead. This split suggests the standard model will sit lower in the range, while the Elite variant targets users seeking stronger performance.
Both Vivo V70 series phones are reported to carry 6.59-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED screens. The panels are said to support up to 120Hz refresh rate. This combination suggests smoother scrolling and animations, along with vibrant colours, which should appeal to mobile gamers and video watchers alike.

The Zeiss-powered camera setup on the Vivo V70 and Vivo V70 Elite is expected to include three rear sensors. Leaks indicate a 50-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide unit, and a 50-megapixel telephoto camera. The telephoto sensor is said to support 3x optical zoom.
The Vivo V70 is reported to include a 6,500mAh battery, with support for 55W wired fast charging. The same leak also mentions an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance on this model. Details for the Vivo V70 Elite battery and protection are yet to appear.
With the Vivo V70 series microsite active and core hardware information public, the remaining questions concern final pricing, sale date and complete specifications. Indian buyers now wait for Vivo to confirm the launch schedule and clarify how the two models will be positioned.
