Apple is reportedly gearing up for one of its busiest hardware years ever. Leaks and analyst reports suggest more than 20 product launches are planned for 2026, spanning iPhones, iPads, Macs, wearables, and smart home devices. While some updates appear incremental, others could significantly change how Apple devices are used at home and on the move.

The 2026 lineup is expected to roll out in phases. Early announcements may focus on familiar upgrades to iPhones, iPads, and Macs, while the second half of the year could bring bigger shifts, including Pro models, foldable hardware, and new wearables.

    iPhones and iPads (Early 2026)

The first half of 2026 is expected to begin with the iPhone 17e, positioned as a meaningful step up from the iPhone 16e. Leaks point to an A19 chip, MagSafe support, and the addition of a Dynamic Island-features that would bring the “e” model closer to Apple’s mainstream iPhone lineup.

On the tablet side, Apple’s iPad strategy also looks active. The iPad Air is tipped to move from the M3 to the M4 chip, offering a noticeable performance boost. Meanwhile, the standard iPad could be refreshed with either an A18 or A19 processor, depending on final configurations.

    Apple MacBooks

Mac users may see multiple updates early in the year. The MacBook Air is expected to adopt the M5 chip, continuing Apple’s steady performance gains in its most popular laptop.

The MacBook Pro lineup could receive M5 Pro and M5 Max chips, along with support for PCIe 5.0 storage. This upgrade would improve data transfer speeds, benefiting both everyday users and professionals.

Apple may also introduce a more affordable MacBook powered by the A18 Pro chip. Rumoured to feature a 12.9-inch display and brighter colour options, this model appears aimed at students and casual users who want a large screen without paying MacBook Pro prices.

    Apple Macs and Displays

Desktop hardware is also due for attention. A refreshed Mac Studio could launch with M5 Max and M5 Ultra chips, targeting creative professionals.

Apple Product Roadmap in 2026: Over 20 Devices Incoming

The Studio Display may finally receive long-awaited upgrades, including Mini-LED backlighting, ProMotion with up to 120Hz refresh rates, HDR support, and a newer A-series chip inside the monitor.

    Apple Smart Home Devices

One of the most interesting additions before mid-2026 could be a new Apple smart home hub. Reports describe a 6-7-inch display designed for table or wall mounting, powered by an A18 chip. The device is expected to focus on a more personalised Siri experience and include FaceTime support.

Apple may also launch its own HomeKit-enabled security camera, designed to work closely with the smart home hub. This would give Apple a first-party option in the home security space and strengthen its smart home ecosystem.

    Flagship iPhones (Late 2026)

The second half of the year is expected to bring Apple’s flagship smartphones: the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. Both models are tipped to use the A20 Pro chip and could feature a narrower Dynamic Island, simplified camera controls, and variable aperture on at least one rear camera.

Connectivity upgrades may include satellite-based web browsing and Apple’s in-house C2 5G modem. The iPhone 18 Pro Max is also rumoured to be slightly thicker, possibly to accommodate battery or camera improvements.

    Apple Foldables and Wearables

Later in 2026, Apple could finally enter the foldable market. The foldable iPhone is said to feature a 7.7-inch inner display designed to minimise creasing, paired with a 5.3-inch outer screen for quick tasks.

Apple Product Roadmap in 2026: Over 20 Devices Incoming

Reports suggest two rear cameras and a single front camera, with Touch ID integrated into the power button instead of Face ID-an interesting shift in Apple’s approach to authentication.

Wearables are also set for updates. The Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4 may gain new chips, minor design tweaks, and possibly Touch ID. Audio hardware could see a leap forward with AirPods Pro 3, which are rumoured to include an infrared camera aimed at future AI-driven features.

    Future Macs and Other Devices

A more dramatic MacBook Pro redesign may arrive later in 2026, powered by M6 Pro and M6 Max chips. Leaks suggest OLED displays with touch support, thinner designs, and built-in cellular connectivity using the C2 modem.

Other products without fixed timelines include Apple Glasses with AR features, a Face ID-enabled smart doorbell, an OLED iPad mini, updated Mac mini models with M5 chips, and long-overdue refreshes for Apple TV and HomePod mini.

If current leaks hold true, 2026 could be one of Apple’s most aggressive hardware years yet, ranging from entry-level devices like the iPhone 17e and a cheaper MacBook to premium launches such as the iPhone 18 Pro, a foldable iPhone, and redesigned MacBook Pros. Smart home devices, wearables, and delayed refreshes may round out a packed release calendar.
