Vivo has officially launched the V70 series in India, introducing two smartphones that sit close to each other on paper but are clearly aimed at slightly different buyers. The Vivo V70 targets the upper mid-range segment, while the Vivo V70 Elite leans more toward flagship performance, especially when it comes to raw power and storage options.

Both phones continue Vivo’s ZEISS camera partnership and focus heavily on battery life and long-term software support, which seems to be a growing priority for buyers in this price range.

Pricing, Sale Date, And Launch Offers

The Vivo V70 series pricing starts at ₹45,999 and goes up to ₹61,999, depending on the model and storage configuration.

    Vivo V70

    • 8GB + 256GB: ₹45,999
    • 12GB + 256GB: ₹49,999

    Vivo V70 Elite

    • 8GB + 256GB: ₹51,999
    • 12GB + 256GB: ₹56,999
    • 12GB + 512GB: ₹61,999

Pre-bookings are already live, and the phones will go on sale starting February 26, 2026, via vivo.com/in, Flipkart, and Amazon India.

At launch, Vivo is bundling a wide range of offers, both online and offline.

Buyers can opt for easy EMI plans starting at ₹2,889 per month, along with up to 18 months no-cost EMI or zero down payment options.

There’s also up to 10% instant bank discount or cashback on select cards, up to 10% exchange bonus under the V-Upgrade program, and a one-year free extended warranty.

Vivo is additionally offering a 60% assured buyback at ₹4,999, discounted V-Shield protection, TWS 3e ANC earbuds at ₹1,499 with purchase, and a complimentary Google Gemini Pro plan for a limited period.

    Performance

The biggest separation between the two phones comes down to the chipset.

The Vivo V70 Elite is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. This setup is clearly meant for users who want faster app launches, smoother multitasking, and more consistent performance during heavier workloads.

The Vivo V70 runs on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4. It’s not trying to compete with flagship silicon, but it should comfortably handle daily use, gaming, and multitasking without feeling underpowered.

Both phones also include an X-axis linear motor with 4D vibration feedback, which helps make everyday interactions feel more precise.

    Camera Setup And Display

Vivo hasn’t split camera hardware between the two models, which is worth noting at this price point. Both phones use the same triple rear camera setup:

Vivo V70, V70 Elite Launched in India: Check Price, Specs, Offers
    • 50MP Sony IMX766 main camera with OIS
    • 8MP ultra-wide camera
    • 50MP Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom

On the front, there’s a 50MP selfie camera on both devices. If photography is a priority, you’re not forced into the more expensive model just to get better hardware.

The display is also shared across the lineup:

    • 1.5K OLED panel
    • 120Hz refresh rate
    • 459ppi pixel density
    • Up to 5,000 nits peak brightness

Both phones also come with IP68 and IP69 ratings, offering strong dust and water resistance.

    Battery And Charging

Battery capacity is identical across both models, and it’s one of the stronger highlights of the series.

    • 6,500mAh silicon-carbon battery
    • 90W wired fast charging
    • Bypass charging support during plugged-in gaming

Bypass charging allows power to flow directly to the phone instead of the battery while gaming, which can help reduce heat and long-term battery wear.

    Software And Update Support

Out of the box, both phones run OriginOS 6 based on Android 16. Vivo is promising four years of major Android updates and six years of security patches.
