Tecno has introduced the Camon 50 Ultra at MWC 2026 in Barcelona, expanding the Camon 50 series. The smartphone highlights a 6,500mAh battery, a 50-megapixel main camera, and a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset, although pricing and sale dates remain undisclosed.

The Tecno Camon 50 Ultra targets users who value display quality and visual comfort. It features a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED screen with 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate, supported by ProXDR eye-care technology aimed at reducing eye fatigue during long viewing sessions.

Optics form a major focus on the Tecno Camon 50 Ultra. The rear module carries a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-700C primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilisation. This is paired with a 50-megapixel telephoto lens offering 3x optical zoom and an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera.

For front-facing tasks, the Tecno Camon 50 Ultra includes a 13-megapixel selfie camera intended for video calls and social content. The phone supports video recording at up to 4K resolution at 30 frames per second, covering most everyday shooting needs for users.

The Tecno Camon 50 Ultra is designed with durability ratings that include IP68, IP69, and IP69K for dust and water resistance, plus MIL-STD-810 certification. It also houses a Dolby Atmos-tuned speaker and an in-display fingerprint scanner for audio playback and biometric security.

Tecno equips the Camon 50 Ultra with the Tecno AI suite, which integrates tools such as AI LightMaster 2.0, 3D PhotoSpace, and AI Image-to-Video generation. The smartphone is promised three major Android OS upgrades and five years of security patches for long-term software support.
