Vivo is gearing up to unveil the first smartphone in its T5 series in India today. The Vivo T5x 5G will debut as the fastest smartphone in the segment, although iQOO recently made the same claim for the Z11x 5G. The Vivo T5x 5G and iQOO Z11x 5G will feature identical specifications.

The Vivo T5x 5G is launching in India at 12 pm (IST) today. The Vivo T5x 5G price in India is expected to start from Rs 18,999, similar to the iQOO Z11x 5G. Vivo T5x 5G Specifications

The Vivo T5x 5G will run on the MediaTek Dimensity 7400-Turbo processor. Vivo reportedly targets an overall AnTuTu benchmark score above one million points. The company is positioning the phone as the fastest performer in its segment. The Vivo T5x 5G is set to come in Cyber Green and Star White colour options.

The Vivo T5x 5G is tipped to feature a 7,200mAh silicon carbon battery paired with 44W wired fast charging. Brar notes that Vivo is promising five years of battery health on this device. The iQOO Z11x, which uses the same battery capacity and charging speed, is claimed to offer one extra year of rated battery health.

The Vivo T5x 5G is expected to ship with Android 16. It will use Origin OS 6.0 on top, along with Vivo’s AI productivity suite. Buyers can reportedly expect two years of Android version upgrades and four years of regular security patches. The phone is also said to carry an IP68/69 rating for dust and water resistance.

Camera hardware on the Vivo T5x 5G will likely centre on a 50MP Sony IMX852 main sensor at the back paired with an unusable secondary sensor. On the front, the phone should include a 32MP selfie camera. The T5x 5G will be able to record 4K video on both the front and rear cameras.
