Samsung New A-Series Phones Launching in India on March 25

Samsung has confirmed the launch of new A-series phones in India on March 25. While the brand hasn’t revealed the names of the upcoming devices, reports and rumours suggest that the company may introduce both the Galaxy A37 and the Galaxy A57 in the country. Here’s what to expect from the A-series phones.

Samsung took to its X (formerly Twitter) handle to confirm that the new A-series phones will launch on March 25 at 5:30 PM IST. A dedicated microsite has also gone live on the company’s official website, allowing interested users to register and receive notifications about more details regarding the upcoming phones. The teaser video shared by the company also offers a glimpse of the phone’s side profile.

Samsung Galaxy A57 and Galaxy A37: What to Expect

As noted, there is a chance the South Korean tech giant will bring the Galaxy A57 and the A37 to the country. In terms of specs, the Galaxy A57 is expected to be powered by the Samsung Exynos 1680 chipset, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It is expected to sport an FHD+ 120 Hz AMOLED display and a metal frame along with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+.

It will opt for a triple rear camera setup comprising a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, and a 5MP macro lens, along with a 12MP front camera. The device is also said to support 4K video recording and pack a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging. Other features could include an IP68 rating, NFC support, and up to six years of software updates.

On the other side, the Galaxy A37 is tipped to run on the Exynos 1480 processor paired with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. Unlike the A57, this model is expected to feature a plastic frame and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection on the front. The handset is also likely to include an FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display and the same triple rear camera setup, battery and charging capabilities.
