Sanctums are sacred places that mostly belong to witches in Crimson Desert. You can help them by cleansing the corrupted sanctums being overtaken by cultists. The world of Pywel is massive, and you will encounter many sanctums along the way while exploring. Here’s where to find all sanctums and how to reach them in Crimson Desert.
Cloister Of Ruination Guide In Crimson Desert
Prepare to fight a couple of Antumbra bosses to unseal the Cloister of Ruination in Crimson Desert.
All Sanctums Location In Crimson Desert
There are a total of 16 sanctums in Crimson Desert. You can find the full list under the Sanctums tab in the Challenges section. Something important to note is that you cannot cleanse a sanctum unless players have met the witch it belongs to. You can defeat the enemies and liberate it, but not cleanse it.
Sanctum Of Temperance Location
The Sanctum of Temprance is located just south of Unicorn Cliff within the Grace Estate in Hernand. You can probably head south from the Nas River and follow the dirt path to reach it. There are two fusion cores you need to find to cleanse it.
Sanctum Of Absolution Location
The Sanctum of Absolution on the map can be seen south from Scholastone. You need to climb a mountain to reach it and luckily, there are plenty of Abyss Nexus and Cressets surrounding it. Other than the normal enemies, players also must defeat Antumbra’s Sword to liberate the Sanctum of Absolution. Search for the missing fusion cores and place them in the empty slots to cleanse it.
Sanctum Of Benediction Location
Head to the western side of Hernand, under the E in Hernanrd, to find the Sanctum of Benediciton. You can start from Hernand City and follow the dirt path slightly northwest to eventually find the sanctum. Defeat the enemies and cleanse it to be thanked by the Witch of Wisdom.
Sanctum Of Penitence Location
The Sanctum of Penitence is quite close to the Sanctum of Temprance. Head southeast from the Unicorn Cliff by following the dirt path to find the sanctum. No boss here, just kill the cultists and find the fusion cores.
Sanctum Of Exaltation Location
The Sanctum of Exaltation is located near Silver Wolf Mountain, on the eastern side. Follow the dirt path from Pailune northwest to reach the sanctum. This one belongs to the Witch of Kindness, so be sure to locate her before attempting to cleanse it.
All Witches Locations In Crimson Desert
Offer aid to strangers around Pywel to meet all five witches in Crimson Desert.
Sanctum Of Solace Location
Just southwest of Pailune City or east of the Witch’s House is the Sanctum of Solace. You can aim for the A in Pailune to find it easily. Defeat Antumbra’s Staff and the cultists to liberate it, then locate the fusion core to cleanse it.
Sanctum Of Deliverance Location
- Witch Of Kindness
Head southeast of the Stormtalon Ridge mountains to see the Sanctum of Deliverance in Pailune. There is a dirt path connecting it to other locations, so it should be easy to reach. Get the fusion cores and cleanse it.
Sanctum Of Atonement Location
For the Sanctum of Atonement, go back to Hernand and try to go north of the first A on the map. Defeat the enemies and cleanse the sanctum.
Sanctum Of Devotion Location
Head west of Dewhaven in Demeniss to find the Sanctum of Devotion. It’s aligned with one of the dirt path, so follow it to reach the area.
Sanctum Of Veneration Location
Travel to Delesyia and approach the Blue Thicket to enter the Sanctum of Veneration. Take care of the cultists and cleanse the sanctum.
Sanctum Of Faith Location
Head down from the Blue Thicket in Delesyia to The Grey Forest to find the Sanctum of Faith. Turn on the Abyss Nexus next to it for easier access later on.
Sanctum Of Oblation Location
Across the water in the adjacent patch of Delesyian land, follow the dirt path up to come across the Sanctum of Oblation. Get the fusion core to complete the quest.
Sanctum Of Expiation Location
The Sanctum of Expiation is located east of the Drakesfall Gorge within the Azerian Estate. Activate the generator with the fusion cores to cleanse the sanctum.
Sanctum Of Renunciation Location
While exploring the Crimson Desert, go to the Sanctum of Renunciation located northeast of Drywind Valley within Tashkalp.
Sanctum Of Revelation Location
Go northeast of the Serpent Marsh and enter the Sanctum of Revelation to defeat the cultists as well as Antumbra’s Spear. After liberating the sanctum, cleanse it.
The Witch of Strength is in the Crimson Desert and you can’t get the task of cleansing her sanctums until you reach a certain point in the main quest.
Sanctum Of Mortification Location
Part of completing the Fragments of Darkness quest is cleansing the Sanctum of Mortification. It’s found northwest of the Golden Plains in Demeniss within the Byron Estate. You cannot cleanse it before triggering the required main quest.
