If you’ve been looking at the Nothing Phone (3a) Lite, this might be the time to act.

The phone has reportedly received a price hike in India, but it’s not a blanket change across all units. According to tipster Sanju Choudhary, the increase applies to newer stock, while older inventory is still being sold at the previous price.
Same Phone, Different Prices
Here’s what the tip suggests.
Price hike alert 🚨
Nothing has increased the prices of Phone (3a) lite due to memory price hike:
8/128GB:
Old: ₹21,999
New: ₹24,999
8/256GB:
Old: ₹23,999
New: ₹26,999
The pricing will remain the same till stock lasts, new stock will be expensive onwards. pic.twitter.com/xHY7fWi94R

The 8GB + 128GB variant has moved from ₹21,999 to ₹24,999. The 8GB + 256GB version has gone from ₹23,999 to ₹26,999. So you’re looking at a ₹3,000 jump either way.
But this only applies to new batches. If a retailer still has older stock, you might still see the original pricing.
So depending on where you check, the same phone could be listed at two different prices.
What’s Behind the Increase
The reason, as per the tip, comes down to memory costs going up.
That lines up with what’s been happening across the industry. Memory components have been getting more expensive, and brands are slowly adjusting prices to deal with that.
It’s not just about new launches anymore. We’re starting to see prices change even after a phone has been in the market for a while.
Should You Buy Now?
If this phone was already on your shortlist, this is one of those moments where timing actually matters.
Finding older stock could save you ₹3,000. But once that runs out, the higher price becomes the default everywhere.
There’s no change to the phone itself. Just the price you pay for it.
