Samsung is reportedly preparing to expand its A-series portfolio with the launch of the Galaxy A27 in the second half of 2026. The latest information, shared by MyMobiles alongside new renders from OnLeaks, suggests that the Galaxy A27 could arrive with a Snapdragon chipset, Android 16-based One UI 8.5, and a familiar Samsung design language.

Samsung has not officially confirmed the Galaxy A27 launch yet, but leaks suggest the smartphone could debut globally in H2 2026. While pricing remains under wraps, the Galaxy A27 is expected to sit close to the Galaxy A26 in Samsung’s mid-range lineup.
With upgraded internals, a refreshed camera setup, and Samsung’s latest software experience, the Galaxy A27 could target users looking for a balanced mid-range smartphone with long battery life and a premium-looking design.
Samsung Galaxy A27 Specifications (Expected)
According to the leaked details, the Samsung Galaxy A27 is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset. The smartphone will reportedly boot Android 16 with Samsung’s One UI 8.5 skin on top. However, there is currently no information regarding Samsung’s software update policy for the device.
The Galaxy A27 is tipped to launch in multiple configurations, including 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB variants. Interestingly, the leaked documents suggest Samsung may remove the microSD card slot this time, unlike the Galaxy A26.
On the front, the smartphone is said to feature a 6.7-inch FullHD+ display. While the exact panel technology and refresh rate remain undisclosed, leaks hint that Samsung could continue using a 120Hz AMOLED panel similar to the Galaxy A26. For optics, the Samsung Galaxy A27 is expected to sport a triple rear camera setup featuring a 50MP primary sensor with OIS support, a 5MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro lens. The phone may also include a 12MP front-facing camera positioned inside a centred punch-hole cutout.
Compared to the Galaxy A26, the ultrawide and selfie camera resolutions appear lower on paper. However, earlier reports suggest Samsung could use a newer sensor for the 12MP selfie shooter, potentially delivering improved image quality despite the reduced megapixel count. Battery details are also said to remain unchanged. The Galaxy A27 could pack a 5,000mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging.
