OPPO is reportedly preparing to launch its Reno 16 series in India and globally soon. A listing for the OPPO Reno 16, Reno 16 Pro, and Reno 16 FS was recently spotted on a European retailer’s website, giving us a first look at the pricing of the upcoming phones. However, tipster Abhishek Yadav took to X, formerly Twitter, to reveal the exact launch date of the OPPO Reno 16 series in India.

OPPO Reno 16 Series Launch Date in India: What to Expect

According to his post, the OPPO Reno 16 series launch date in India is set for July 2, 2026. Considering the OPPO Reno 16 series has been popping up on various benchmarking and certification websites, Yadav’s leak will likely be accurate.

Additionally, the post doesn’t dive into the pricing, features, or devices launching in India. To recall, only the OPPO Reno 16 and Reno 16 Pro were unveiled in China in May. Although several reports suggest that OPPO will also launch the Reno 16 FS globally.

OPPO Reno 16 Series Pricing: What to Expect

The OPPO Reno 16 5G price is listed at EUR 890.91 (approximately Rs. 98,200). Meanwhile, the OPPO Reno 16 FS 5G price has been tipped at EUR 791.90 (roughly Rs. 87,300). Finally, the OPPO Reno 16 Pro’s price is reportedly set at EUR 1,087.90 (around Rs. 1,19,900).

If these leaks are accurate, then the OPPO Reno 16 series could get a price hike in India. The OPPO Reno 16 FS price in India could start from under Rs 50,000. On the other hand, the vanilla Reno 16’s price in India could fall below 60,000. Finally, the OPPO Reno 16 Pro price in India could start from under Rs 70,000.

OPPO Reno 16 Series Specifications: What to Expect

The Reno 16 Pro is tipped to feature a 6.32-inch LTPS AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection. It is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8550 chipset, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.

The camera setup could include a 200MP primary sensor with OIS, a 50MP telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom and OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP selfie shooter. A 6,700mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC charging is also expected.

The standard Reno 16 may retain the same 6.32-inch 1.5K AMOLED display but with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is tipped to run on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor and feature a triple 50MP rear camera setup comprising main, telephoto, and ultra-wide sensors, along with a 50MP front camera. A 6,000mAh battery with 80W charging support is also anticipated.

Meanwhile, the Reno 16 FS is expected to offer a larger 6.57-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset. It could feature a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP telephoto sensor with 3.5x optical zoom, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP selfie camera. The device is also tipped to pack a 6,500mAh battery with 45W charging. Across the range, OPPO is expected to offer stereo speakers, NFC, and IP69-rated durability.
