The Samsung Galaxy A27 5G is now available for purchase in India. To recall, the Galaxy A27 was unveiled in India last week, sitting just under the Galaxy A37 5G, which made its debut earlier this year.

The Galaxy A27 5G arrives with a mix of upgrades that matter for everyday use. Samsung has moved to a punch-hole display design, added Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection, and included a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilisation. The company is also promising six years of Android OS and security updates, which remains a key differentiator in this price segment.

The Samsung Galaxy A27 5G price in India is set at Rs 31,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The 8GB RAM with 128GB storage model is priced at Rs 34,999, while the top 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant costs Rs 40,499.

As part of launch offers, buyers can get an instant cashback of Rs 3,000 on eligible bank and UPI transactions. The Galaxy A27 5G is available for purchase through Samsung outlets, partner stores, Samsung.com, and other online platforms. The handset is offered in Light Green, Light Pink and Black.

Samsung Galaxy A27 5G Specifications and AI Features

The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, built on a 4nm process. It is paired with up to 8GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 internal storage. Samsung has also retained microSD card support, allowing storage expansion up to 2TB, a useful addition for users who store videos, offline content and large apps.

On the front, the Galaxy A27 5G gets a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The higher refresh rate should help with smoother scrolling, gaming and app navigation. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection gives the phone an added durability advantage over several mid-range rivals that still use lower-grade display protection.

For cameras, Samsung has used a triple rear setup. This includes a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro camera. A 12MP front camera is available for selfies and video calls. OIS is the more important feature here, as it can help reduce blur in low-light shots and improve handheld video stability.

The phone also gets Samsung’s Awesome Intelligence suite. Circle to Search can identify multiple objects in one frame, while the Voice Recorder app supports transcription and translation in 22 languages. Users can choose between Google Gemini, Perplexity and the updated Bixby, which now supports natural language commands for changing system settings.
