OnePlus isn’t done with its budget lineup just yet. The company has put out a fresh teaser for a phone called the OnePlus N6x, with a simple “Coming Soon” tag and nothing else revealed.
This comes barely a few weeks after OnePlus launched the N6 in India on June 30, so the N6x looks like it’s shaping up to be an even more affordable spin on that phone, going by the naming alone.
What We Know So Far
The teaser itself doesn’t give away much. There’s no design shown, no colour options, no specifications, just the OnePlus logo, the phone’s name, and a “Coming Soon” label. Given how OnePlus usually rolls out its budget phones, expect a proper design teaser and spec reveals to follow in the coming weeks.
Where This Sits Alongside The OnePlus N6
For context, the OnePlus N6 launched at Rs 22,999 for the base 4GB + 128GB variant, going up to Rs 24,999 for the 6GB + 128GB option. It came with an 8,000mAh battery, 45W fast charging, a Dimensity 6360 Apex chipset, and a 6.8-inch HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
Going by the “x” in its name, and how OnePlus has used similar naming for other budget spin-offs in the past, the N6x is likely to sit a notch below the N6 itself, possibly with a slightly trimmed spec sheet to hit an even lower price point. Nothing’s confirmed yet, but if OnePlus is doubling down on the N series this quickly, it’s a clear sign the brand is serious about competing hard in the sub Rs 20,000 segment in India.
