OPPO has officially unveiled the OPPO A7 Pro Max in China, introducing a smartphone that puts battery life and durability at the forefront. The new handset packs a massive 10,000mAh battery, military-grade durability, and IP69K-rated protection against water and dust, making it an appealing option for users who need a reliable device for outdoor use.
Despite housing one of the largest batteries seen on a mainstream smartphone, OPPO has managed to keep the handset relatively slim at 8.25mm thick.

OPPO A7 Pro Max: Battery, Performance, and Display
The biggest highlight of the OPPO A7 Pro Max is its 10,000mAh battery, which the company claims can deliver up to 24 hours of continuous short-video playback. The battery supports 80W wired fast charging and 27W wired reverse charging, allowing users to power other compatible devices.
OPPO also says the battery is engineered to retain over 80 percent of its original capacity after 1,500 charging cycles, promising long-term reliability.
Powering the smartphone is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 chipset, paired with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. On the front, the phone features a 6.78-inch flat OLED display with a 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 1,800 nits peak brightness for improved outdoor visibility.
OPPO A7 Pro Max Cameras and Features
For photography, the OPPO A7 Pro Max sports a 50MP primary camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS), accompanied by a 2MP monochrome depth sensor. Selfies and video calls are handled by a 50MP front-facing camera.
The rear panel draws inspiration from the classic OPPO A103 “Smiley Phone”, featuring a distinctive design along with a customisable ambient light strip that can notify users about incoming calls and alerts.
Other key features include:
- Android 16-based ColorOS 16
- AI-powered anti-fraud protection
- In-display fingerprint scanner
- Full-scene NFC
- Infrared (IR) blaster
- Smart dual-wheel vehicle connectivity
- OPPO A7 Pro Max Built for Tough Conditions

The OPPO A7 Pro Max comes with IP69K certification, offering protection against high-pressure water jets and dust ingress. The smartphone has also cleared seven military-grade durability tests, making it suitable for demanding environments.
