Lava has officially started selling the Virat V1 Pro 5G in India, adding another option to the company’s mid-range 5G smartphone lineup. The new handset focuses on everyday performance, battery life and a large high-refresh-rate display, while also offering a 50MP AI camera and a bloatware-free Android experience.
The Virat V1 Pro 5G also comes with an IP64 rating and expandable storage, making it a feature-packed option for users looking for a practical 5G smartphone.

Lava Virat V1 Pro 5G Price and Availability
The Lava Virat V1 Pro 5G is priced at Rs 15,999 in India for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. As part of the launch offer, buyers can get a flat Rs 2,000 discount on credit card and credit card EMI transactions across all banks, bringing the effective price down to Rs 13,999.
The smartphone went on sale today, August 31, 2026, at 12 PM, and is available through Flipkart. Buyers can choose between two colour options: Sikkim Midnight and Spiti Frost.
Lava Virat V1 Pro 5G Specifications
The smartphone features a 6.75-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 550 nits HBM brightness.
Powering the handset is the Unisoc T8200 octa-core processor, based on a 6nm architecture. Lava claims the chipset achieves an AnTuTu score of more than 500,000. The phone gets 6GB RAM with up to 6GB virtual RAM and 128GB internal storage. Storage can be expanded up to 1TB via microSD card.
For photography, the Virat V1 Pro 5G has a 50MP AI rear camera and an 8MP front camera.
The handset packs a large 6,000mAh battery with support for 18W charging through a USB Type-C port. It runs Android 16 with a bloatware-free UI and is promised one Android OS upgrade and two years of security updates.
Other features include an IP64 rating, side-mounted fingerprint sensor and a hybrid SIM slot supporting either two Nano SIMs or one SIM alongside a microSD card. Lava provides a one-year warranty on the handset and six months on accessories.
