OnePlus N6 Lite Budget Smartphone Launched in India with 7,000mAh Battery, 120Hz Display, Android 16

OnePlus has launched the N6 Lite in India, targeting users who prioritise battery life, durability and expandable storage. Its biggest highlight is a 7,000mAh battery, backed by a 120Hz display, IP64 rating and Android 16-based OxygenOS 16. The phone also supports microSD expansion, making it an option for users who store large amounts of media locally.

OnePlus N6 Lite Price and Availability

The OnePlus N6 Lite price in India is Rs. 16,999 for the sole 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant. With select bank EMI offers, the effective launch price comes down to Rs. 16,249.

The phone is available in Midnight Hype and Neo Green colours through OnePlus.in, the OnePlus Store app, Amazon India, OnePlus Experience Stores and authorised retail outlets.

OnePlus N6 Lite Specifications and Features

The OnePlus N6 Lite features a 6.75-inch HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1,570 × 720-pixel resolution and up to 900 nits brightness. It also gets Aqua Touch technology, designed to maintain touch response when the display is wet or oily.

Powering the handset is the 12nm UNISOC T7250 octa-core processor, paired with a Mali-G57 MP1 GPU, 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB UFS 2.2 storage. A dedicated microSD card slot supports up to 2TB of expandable storage.

The 7,000mAh battery is the phone’s biggest highlight. OnePlus claims up to three days of typical usage, along with up to 55.5 hours of voice calls, 29.9 hours of navigation and 26.8 hours of video playback. It supports 15W wired charging and 5W reverse wired charging. The battery is rated to retain over 80 percent capacity after 1,600 charge cycles.

For durability, the N6 Lite carries an IP64 rating and MIL-STD-810H certification. It measures 8.95mm thick and weighs 215 grams.

On the software front, the phone runs Android 16 with OxygenOS 16 and includes 36-month fluency protection. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS and USB Type-C.

For photography, there is a 13MP rear camera with an OmniVision sensor and a 5MP front camera. Camera features include AI Clear Face and AI Eraser, while Google Gemini is also integrated for AI-assisted tasks.
