At CES 2026, MSI has launched new Prestige, Modern, Raider, Stealth and Crosshair models with Intel’s latest processors, redesigned bodies and stronger graphics options, targeting professionals, students, and gamers across India and other global markets.
The all-new Prestige series laptops powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors are already available for pre-order, with sales starting 27 January 2026 through selected retailers.
MSI Prestige series business and productivity lineup
The Prestige 13 AI+ continues as MSI’s lightest professional laptop and drops even more grams this year. Weighing only 899 grams, it is described as the lightest 13‑inch magnesium‑aluminium laptop in the world. Despite that featherweight body, the latest Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processor inside aims to deliver strong performance for work and travel.
The larger Prestige 14 and Prestige 16 models join the Prestige 13 AI+ with a new design direction. MSI moves to thinner profiles, softer curves and full aluminium construction across both sizes. Prestige 14 weighs 1.32 kg, which MSI says is 22 per cent less than the previous generation, while Prestige 16 comes in at 1.59 kg.
Powering the Prestige series, Intel Core Ultra Series 3 chips combine with Intel Arc B390 graphics to handle office tasks, content creation and some AAA games. MSI fits an 81Wh battery, claiming over 30 hours of 1080p video playback. Cooling uses an advanced vapour chamber, dual fans and Intra Flow design, with noise reportedly under 30 dBA at full performance.
For users who want more flexibility, MSI adds Prestige 14 Flip and Prestige 16 Flip. These 2‑in‑1 versions mirror the slim chassis and internal hardware of the clamshell models but add 360‑degree hinges. Their touchscreens support stylus input, targeting designers, students and professionals who prefer sketching or handwriting notes.
The Prestige Flip range ships with MSI’s MSI Nano Pen as standard kit. Through an exclusive collaboration with Microsoft, the MSI Nano Pen includes a special shortcut: users can “press both buttons” to enable a Copilot press‑to‑talk mode. That lets Copilot take voice input, offering hands‑free, conversational control while on the move.
Across the Prestige family, MSI highlights usability and security upgrades. A new Action Touchpad is said to be 53 per cent larger and supports custom gesture zones. Security features include TPM 2.0, Windows Hello fingerprint and facial recognition, plus Smart Guard, which can automatically lock the system based on user presence. A 2.8K 120Hz OLED display with VRR and DisplayHDR True Black 1000 certification is available, offering smooth motion and deep blacks.
MSI 14S and 16S for everyday users
The Modern 14S and Modern 16S also see fresh styling aimed at mainstream buyers wanting some of the Prestige feel. MSI increases the use of metal on the chassis and shifts to gentler, rounded edges. These choices seek to deliver a more upmarket look and touch while keeping pricing closer to everyday budgets.
Like the Prestige series, Modern 14S and 16S adopt Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, with dual memory slots available across the line. Despite the specification bump, MSI keeps the laptops slim and light. The Modern 14S OLED variant is as thin as 11.1 mm and weighs from 1.3 kg, which targets commuters and students needing daily portability.
MSI Raider and Stealth gaming laptops
On the gaming side, MSI pushes power levels higher with the Raider 16 Max HX and Raider 16 HX. The Raider 16 Max HX is billed as the first gaming laptop capable of 300W total system power. Under full load, it can supply 175W to an RTX 5090 or 5080 GPU and 125W to an Intel Core Ultra 200HX processor.
To manage that level of heat, MSI develops a Cooler Boost Trinity system with Intra Flow for the Raider 16 Max HX. It uses three fans, six heat pipes, five exhaust vents and phase‑change thermal compound. MSI claims the laptop stays relatively quiet even when gaming, rendering or multitasking at maximum power. A 2.5K 240Hz OLED panel with VESA Display HDR True Black 1000 and SGS low blue light certification targets fast AAA games and detailed creative work.
The Stealth 16 AI+ focuses on slimmer gaming and creator use. The laptop is 16.6 mm thick and weighs under 2 kg, wrapped in a dark grey full‑aluminium shell. MSI pairs it with a 90Wh battery, aimed at professionals who game or edit video after work and need long unplugged sessions during travel or daily commutes.
Compared with the previous Stealth generation, the Stealth 16 AI+ becomes both thinner and stronger. An upgraded Cooler Boost system with Intra Flow and multi‑directional exhaust can send up to 20W more power to the RTX 50 series GPU. Connectivity includes two USB‑A ports, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, HDMI 2.1 and RJ‑45 LAN. Dual memory and SSD slots keep the Stealth 16 AI+ open for future upgrades.
MSI Crosshair gaming laptops
The Crosshair 16 Max HX and Crosshair 16 HX refresh MSI’s mid‑range performance gaming segment. They run Intel Core Ultra 200HX processors with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 series graphics. With MSI’s Cooler Boost and quad‑vent exhaust, total system power can reach 200W, which MSI says is a 30W uplift over the earlier Crosshair generation.
Players can pick an optional QHD+ 165Hz OLED display for sharper images and smooth response in competitive titles. The new port layout adds three USB‑A ports, two USB‑C ports, including Thunderbolt 4, plus HDMI and RJ‑45 LAN moved to the rear for tidier desks. The RGB Crosshair styling returns with a 24‑zone RGB backlit keyboard, allowing individual lighting patterns while gaming.
MSI’s CES 2026 laptop range shows a coordinated push on lighter designs, higher power budgets and OLED displays across business and gaming lines. From the 899‑gram Prestige 13 AI+ to the 300W Raider 16 Max HX, the company targets distinct needs, while shared Intel Core Ultra platforms and upgraded cooling systems link productivity, entertainment and esports under one refreshed portfolio.
