GTA Online: 16 Great Cars You Need To Steal

There’s no need to waste cash on the fastest GTA Online vehicles when they can just as easily be stolen for a joyous ride across Los Santos.

Bringing forth the underground Tuner scene is a great idea for Los Santos, and those that populate it can find every Tuner vehicle in GTA Online below, and come to a decision on whether one or more of these vehicles is worth investing in.

Updated on December 21, 2024, by Jake Fillery: For players who want to invest into the best Tuner Update cars in GTA Online, it might benefit them to know just how much they cost, and how expensive the best upgrades for every Tuner car will set them back by so that they know if they need to jump into another heist or two to afford it.

How Expensive Are Tuner Car Modifications?

With 17 Tuner Update cars in GTA Online, players are going to need quite a wad of cash to fully upgrade each one. As usual, vehicles have a set amount of modifications that drastically improve the stats, and these can be found below:

    Modification Type

    Most Expensive Upgrades

    Price

    Armor

    Armor Upgrade 100%

    $50,000

    Brakes

    Race Brakes

    $35,000

    Engine Tunes

    EMS Upgrade, Level 4

    $33,500

    Suspension

    Competition Suspension

    $4,400

    Transmission

    Race Transmission

    $40,000

    Turbo

    Turbo Tuning

    $50,000

    Tire Enhancements

    Bulletproof Tires

    $25,000

Each Tuner Update vehicle also has customisation options for Benny’s Workshop and Los Santos Customs that range in price, allowing players to change the visual identity of the car without impacting the performance of the vehicle itself.

    17

    Tailgater S

    Top Speed: 115.75 MPH

    Tailgater S

    • Stock Price: $1,495,000 (Legendary Motorsport)
    • Trade Price: $1,121,250 (Random chance after 5 Los Santos Tuners Reputation levels)
    • Total Upgrade Cost: $675,349

    Speed

    79.33

    Acceleration

    82

    Braking

    33

    Handling

    76

A vehicle that provides comfort in design and performance, the Tailgater S will set players back a hefty amount of money, but it’s the price to pay for luxury. The vehicle itself drives pretty well thanks to its high acceleration and handling, but it doesn’t give the appearance that some might crave from an underground Tuner vehicle.

    16

    Dinka RT3000

    Top Speed: 119.25 MPH

    Dinka RT3000

    • Stock Price: $1,715,000 (Southern S.A. Super Autos)
    • Trade Price: $1,286,250 (Random chance after 5 Los Santos Tuners Reputation levels)
    • Total Upgrade Cost: $631,278

    Speed

    79.95

    Acceleration

    78

    Braking

    33.33

    Handling

    78.18

A steep price can make all the difference, and with the Dinka RT3000, players will leave the competition in the dust when it comes to those classic street races. The vehicle might seem small, but that’s perfect for being underestimated, as the Dinka RT3000 is a competent vehicle with great stats.

    15

    Vulcar Warrener HKR

    Top Speed: 106.50 MPH

    Vulcar Warrener HKR

    • Only obtainable through other players at the LS Car Meet.
    • Total Upgrade Cost: $317,350

    Speed

    78.34

    Acceleration

    66.25

    Braking

    31.67

    Handling

    65.45

Despite being sturdy and reliable, this is a vehicle that won’t catch a nice eye. It’s an expensive piece of kit that doesn’t seem to earn much love based on its pickup appearance, so it might be hard for some fans out there to make this work and increase their street cred if they’re rolling around in a mediocre car that they overpaid for.

    14

    Vapid Dominator ASP

    Top Speed: 119 MPH

    Vapid Dominator ASP

    • Stock Price: $1,775,000 (Southern S.A. Super Autos)
    • Trade Price: $1,331,250 (Random chance after 5 Los Santos Tuners Reputation levels)
    • Total Upgrade Cost: $701,245

    Speed

    80.89

    Acceleration

    85.50

    Braking

    30.67

    Handling

    75.50

Stylistic and desirable, this muscle car-inspired vehicle will truly dominate the competition in terms of performance and appearance. It might not be a classic, but it’s old-school enough to catch an eye or two. Players can easily turn this vehicle into a beast worthy of the road and watchful eyes.

    13

    Karin Sultan RS Classic

    Top Speed: 117.50 MPH

    Karin Sultan RS Classic

    • Stock Price: $1,789,000 (Southern S.A. Super Autos)
    • Trade Price: $1,341,750 (Random chance after 5 Los Santos Tuners Reputation levels)
    • Total Upgrade Cost: $598,886

    Speed

    78.60

    Acceleration

    83

    Braking

    33

    Handling

    76

At first glance, players might not be too impressed with the Karin Sultan RS Classic, especially when it looks like a vehicle perfect for an aunt. Yet, it has the performance that makes it a sleeper pick, and players can expect an impressive ride that can make some races seem like a thrilling breeze.

Grand Theft Auto Online: Cheap Cars That Are Really Fast

Players looking for cheap yet fast cars in Grand Theft Auto Online should have a look at this selection.

    12

    Karin Previon

    Top Speed: 115 MPH

    Karin Previon

    • Stock Price: $1,490,000 (Southern S.A. Super Autos)
    • Trade Price: $1,117,500 (Random chance after 5 Los Santos Tuners Reputation levels)
    • Total Upgrade Cost: $670,290

    Speed

    80.19

    Acceleration

    79.63

    Braking

    28.33

    Handling

    75.35

Another willingly expensive addition to any garage, the Previon provides players with a dangerous ride, one that could be in their favor or against them based on how much they have spent on modifications and who is holding the wheel. It’s a fairly modest car, and doesn’t look the most attractive, especially for that price.

    11

    Cypher

    Top Speed: 113.50 MPH

    Cypher

    • Stock Price: $1,550,000 (Legendary Motorsport)
    • Trade Price: $1,162,500 (Random chance after 5 Los Santos Tuners Reputation levels)
    • Total Upgrade Cost: $633,438

    Speed

    79.33

    Acceleration

    81.50

    Braking

    23.33

    Handling

    78.48

When purchasing something from Legendary Motorsport, players should expect a pricey ride but one that exceeds their expectations. The Cypher can provide that desire, with a powerful and intimidating engine that will see players speed across Los Santos like a desirable supercar. Its appearance also makes for a great addition for those riding to impress.

    10

    Growler

    Top Speed: 121.50 MPH

    Growler

    • Stock Price: $1,627,000 (Legendary Motorsport)
    • Trade Price: $1,220,050 (Random chance after 5 Los Santos Tuners Reputation levels)
    • Total Upgrade Cost: $575,480

    Speed

    82.55

    Acceleration

    83.44

    Braking

    28

    Handling

    79.70

The Growler’s name is very much deserving, as this puppy will growl its way to first place thanks to its intense speed and acceleration. The vehicle is humble and respectable in appearance and handling, providing players with a vehicle that will look just as good as it performs, and the asking price isn’t too bad.

    9

    Vectre

    Top Speed: 115.25 MPH

    Vectre

    • Stock Price: $1,785,000 (Legendary Motorsport)
    • Trade Price: $1,338,750 (Random chance after 5 Los Santos Tuners Reputation levels)
    • Total Upgrade Cost: $655,579

    Speed

    79.68

    Acceleration

    81

    Braking

    20

    Handling

    79.85

The Vectre seems to stubborn to go quietly, and this vehicle doesn’t exactly look the part for an underground vehicle, but all it does is prove how much cash the player who owns this vehicle has. The vehicle is impressionable and violent, and those with it can live a supermodel lifestyle and avoid the outdated classics and rustbuckets that prefer performance over appearance.

    8

    Comet S2

    Top Speed: 123 MPH

    Comet S2

    • Stock Price: $1,878,000 (Legendary Motorsport)
    • Trade Price: $1,408,500 (Random chance after 5 Los Santos Tuners Reputation levels)
    • Total Upgrade Cost: $526,879

    Speed

    83.92

    Acceleration

    86.50

    Braking

    29.33

    Handling

    81

The Comet S2 goes far beyond just being a fast car with great stats. Players are going to be amazed by the performance, but even more so by the pricey cosmetics and modifications. The Comet S2 is a great vehicle that leaves strong impressions, and other players might desire it, especially with some liveries being directly inspired by Johnny Silverhand’s Porsche from Cyberpunk 2077.

The best cars to sell in GTA Online usually require minimum effort to find for a quick few thousand bucks.

    7

    ZR350

    Top Speed: 117.50 MPH

    ZR350

    • Stock Price: $1,615,000 (Legendary Motorsport)
    • Trade Price: $1,211,250 (Random chance after 5 Los Santos Tuners Reputation levels)
    • Total Upgrade Cost: $854,089

    80.38

    Acceleration

    82.50

    Braking

    28.33

    Handling

    75.30

The ZR350 sounds and looks rather futuristic, bringing a sci-fi element to the retro vibes of the underground tuner scene. Whilst the performance is fairly average for a vehicle in the Legendary Motorsport category, it’s still worth a purchase for those who want a stylish vehicle and something that drives with power, finesse, and clout.

    6

    Euros

    Top Speed: 116.50 MPH

    Euros

    • Stock Price: $1,800,000 (Legendary Motorsport)
    • Trade Price: $1,350,000 (Random chance after 5 Los Santos Tuners Reputation levels)
    • Total Upgrade Cost: $839,315

    Speed

    80.40

    Acceleration

    81

    Braking

    30

    Handling

    77.62

The Annis Euros is a pretty hip car and something that can easily be seen as a classic based on visual appearance alone. Players might enjoy grabbing this vehicle to see a decent set of stats further rewarded with Drift Tuning Modifications. Euros is expensive, but if players want to look stylish and impressive they’re going to need to spend cash.

    5

    Jester RR

    Top Speed: 125 MPH

    Jester RR

    • Stock Price: $1,970,000 (Legendary Motorsport)
    • Trade Price: $1,477,500 (Random chance after 5 Los Santos Tuners Reputation levels)
    • Total Upgrade Cost: $860,784

    Speed

    81.82

    Acceleration

    82.28

    Braking

    28.33

    Handling

    78.48

The Dinka Jester is beloved for a few reasons, and the RR variant provides the tuners out there with a car that can face the apocalypse with a smile and a roaring engine. The high speeds of this vehicle and its impressive stats are worth the price alone, but paired with the sleek and smug aesthetic of the future of engineering? It’s a notable bonus worth purchasing.

    4

    Karin Futo GTX

    Top Speed: 119.75 MPH

    Karin Futo GTX

    • Stock Price: $1,590,000 (Southern S.A. Super Autos)
    • Trade Price: $1,192,500 (Random chance after 5 Los Santos Tuners Reputation levels)
    • Total Upgrade Cost: $831,868

    Speed

    73.51

    Acceleration

    74.13

    Braking

    17.50

    Handling

    63.48

The Futo GTX doesn’t look all that impressive, and its design seems fairly outdated by at least 4 decades. Nevertheless, players can find a moderate performance, but one that only sees a benefit from players willing to invest to optimize the performance. The Futo GTX doesn’t look or feel like the best, so maybe leave it in the junkyard.

Compared to other tuner vehicles, the Annis Remus is one of the cheaper options and one of the more optimized performances. The appearance doesn’t seem like an emperor, but maybe it’s one humble enough to be nurtured into a Caesar. The appearance can definitely take on a set of upgrades and modifications that will turn some heads.
