Thoughts Bequeathed Myth In Nioh 3
The Thoughts Bequeathed is triggered upon speaking with Minamoto in Rokuhara. He’s standing on the southwest side of the area closer to Gojo Bridge. Talking with him triggers the Thoughts Bequeathed Myth in Nioh 3.
The warrior explains that he wishes to get all three of Benkei’s Scrolls and wants players to help him locate them. The scrolls can be found in Gojo Bridge, Yasaka Shrine, and Awawa no Tsuji and you can collect them in any order. The scrolls are:
- Benkei’s Hidden Scroll – Top: Found in Gojo Bridge.
- Benkei’s Hidden Scroll – Middle: Found in Awawa no Tsuji.
- Benkei’s Hidden Scroll – Bottom: Found in Yasaka Shrine.
Benkei’s Hidden Scroll – Top
The Benkei’s Hidden Scroll – Top is located extremely close to Minamoto’s location. From Gojo Bridge Shrine, head southwest to find a chest inside a sunken destroyed house. Open it to get the first scroll.
Benkei’s Hidden Scroll – Middle
From Tacchi Gate Shrine in Awawa no Tsuji, head west through the destroyed wall and fight the yokai that’s going to emerge. Once you are done, go inside the house to find a Samurai’s Locks. Destroy the painting and explore the backyard to find a chest containing the Benkei’s Hidden Scroll – Middle.
Benkei’s Hidden Scroll – Bottom
Teleport to the Yasaka Shrine in Rokuhara and head southeast. From Yaska Shrine: Nishiro Gate Shrine, turn east and go around the building to eventually find a path blocked by ice spikes. Destroy them and proceed forward to unlock a chest and get the Benkei’s Hidden Scroll – Bottom.
Once all three scrolls are collected, head back to Minamoto and show him the scrolls and some yokai will appear. Defeat them all and speak with him again to complete the Thoughts Bequeathed quest in Nioh 3.
Completing the quest rewards players with Smithing Text: Benkei’s Axe, Smithing Text: Stone’s Bane, Smithing Text: Benkei’s Splitstaff. You can use them at the blacksmith to craft these weapons and use them in battle.
