DayZ is set in a multiplayer world where players can work alone or together in a group to survive. In it, they are expected to kill zombies and other players who pose a threat to the player’s own survival.
Having opportunities to survive, such as giving the player the ability to build their own homes, hunt, fish, cook, and find different types of loot within the world can often mean the difference between life and death, and a certain degree of organization is required for those who wish to truly thrive. For those looking to organize their inventory to the best of their ability, here is how to rotate inventory items in DayZ.

How To Rotate Items In Your Inventory In DayZ
There is no definitive way to beat DayZ other than to survive as long as possible within the world. With so many different ways of dying, the player should always be careful regarding what lurks around each corner. When a player does spawn, they will be given the absolute basic needs to survive. If they have loot when they die, they will lose all of it, which can be pretty upsetting. The best way to prevent this from happening is to put items away within the player’s base once a good amount of loot has been sourced.
Something players will want to do in DayZ is keep their inventory organized. This will make it easier for players to transfer their loot into safe spaces that are also organized throughout their base.
Those who want to rotate items in their DayZ inventory should know that they can only do so via a mouse.
The player must click on the item with the left mouse button and then press the spacebar. Players on Xbox and PlayStation will need to hook up a keyboard and mouse to the console in order to rotate items that way. As such, those playing DayZ on PC tend to have a much easier time when performing this task.
Hopefully, in the future, DayZ players will be able to rotate items more easily than they currently can on the console version of the game. At the time of writing, this is the only way to rotate items within DayZ.
