LG Electronics India Limited has introduced two new smart monitors designed to bridge the gap between professional productivity and home entertainment.
Announced today, the LG 27SR75U and 32SR75U aim to cater to users who frequently transition between work-related tasks and multimedia consumption, reflecting an increasing preference for versatile home-office setups.

A Focus on High-Resolution Displays
The main draw for both monitors is their 4K Ultra HD resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels), promising detailed visuals for professionals, such as designers, video editors, or general users who value clear image quality.
Both the 27-inch (27SR75U) and 32-inch (32SR75U) versions offer accurate color reproduction, covering up to 90% of the DCI-P3 color space and supporting HDR 10, making them suitable for content creators and media enthusiasts alike.

However, despite similarities in resolution and color accuracy, LG has differentiated the two models using different panel technologies. The 27-inch version features an IPS panel with 350 nits of brightness, catering to users who require consistent color accuracy from multiple viewing angles.
The 32-inch monitor opts for a VA panel with 250 nits brightness, providing deeper contrasts and making it potentially more appealing for video consumption and gaming enthusiasts.
Smart Features Built Around webOS23
Both monitors come equipped with LG’s webOS23 platform, highlighting the trend of integrating smart TV features directly into desktop monitors. This allows users to stream content from popular video services and access over 100 free channels via LG Channels without needing external devices. Built-in apps for sports, fitness, music, and cloud gaming further position these devices as multipurpose screens for hybrid environments.
Additionally, the monitors support wireless screen sharing through ScreenShare and AirPlay2, simplifying content streaming from laptops, tablets, and smartphones. They also include built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, expanding convenience beyond traditional wired connections.
Voice and Remote Control Integration
Adding to convenience, LG’s Magic Remote is compatible with these monitors, allowing users to navigate through menus, launch apps, or adjust settings using voice commands through LG’s ThinQ Voice Assistant. This feature mirrors the broader industry trend toward incorporating voice-driven user interfaces for easier, hands-free navigation.
Practical Design for Everyday Use
Recognizing ergonomic factors in daily monitor use, LG has equipped both models with adjustable stands that enable tilt and height adjustments. The nearly bezel-less design on three sides helps facilitate a dual-monitor setup, reducing visual clutter and maximizing workspace efficiency.
Pricing and Market Availability
LG has priced the 27SR75U model at ₹32,000, while the larger 32SR75U is set at ₹38,000. Both monitors will become available shortly through Amazon and LG’s official online channels in India.
