Motorola is set to enter India’s premium smartphone segment with the launch of its new Signature series. The Motorola Signature will debut as a rebranded version of the Moto X70 Air Pro, which was only just unveiled in China.
Since the Motorola Signature has already been unveiled in Europe, its specifications are readily available. However, its pricing in India remains under wraps, until now.
Motorola Signature Price and Offers in India (Expected)
According to tipster Sanju Choudhary, the Motorola Signature price in India will start from Rs 59,999 for the base 12GB/256GB model. Moreover, the Signature will also be offered in a 12GB/512GB and 16GB/1TB configuration that will be priced at Rs 64,999 and Rs 69,999, respectively.
Motorola will also offer a bank discount of Rs 5,000 on the Signature as well as an exchange bonus of Rs 7,500. Following its launch, the handset will go on sale in India through Flipkart. To recall, the Motorola Signature carries a global price of EUR 899.99 (roughly Rs 82,000) for one configuration, which includes 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
The Motorola Signature will be offered in Pantone Carbon and Pantone Martini Olive shades. It is unclear whether leak is accurate, Choudhary is a reliable tipster. However, we believe that the prices above are likely inclusive of the launch offers.
Motorola Signature Specifications & Features
Powering the Motorola Signature is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and as much as 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. Motorola ships the phone with Android 16 and several Moto AI features, while promising seven years of Android OS and security updates.
On the rear, the Motorola Signature houses three cameras. The primary unit is a 50MP Sony Lytia 828 sensor with OIS and an f/1.6 aperture. It is joined by a 50MP ultrawide camera with a 122-degree field of view and macro support, plus a 50MP Sony Lytia 600 periscope lens offering 3x optical zoom.
The Motorola Signature also places emphasis on selfies and video calls. At the front, there is a 50MP Sony Lytia 500 camera with autofocus for sharper shots. This combination of four 50MP sensors aims to give users consistent detail across standard, wide, zoomed, and front-facing images.
The Motorola Signature uses a 6.8-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel that supports a 165Hz refresh rate. The display offers a peak brightness of 6,200 nits and carries HDR10+ and Dolby Vision support. Protection comes from Gorilla Glass Victus 2, and the screen is Pantone Color and SkinTone certified. The Motorola Signature keeps a slim profile at 6.99mm and weighs 186 grams. Audio output relies on dual-stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support and sound by Bose.
The Motorola Signature includes a 5,200 mAh battery and supports 90W wired fast charging plus 50W wireless charging. Reverse charging is also available, with 10W reverse wired and 5W reverse wireless output. Durability is strengthened through IP68 and IP69 ratings and MIL-STD-810H certification against dust, water, and environmental stress.
