A new Realme device with a huge 10,000mAh battery has now appeared on the BIS certification database, which is usually one of the last things that happens before a phone goes official.
The listing was spotted by tipster Debayan Roy, who says the phone carries the model number RMX5107 and is likely to launch as the Realme P5 Pro.
We already saw Realme tease a new phone yesterday, so this certification lines up neatly with what the brand is getting ready to announce.
BIS Listing Hints at an Imminent Launch
BIS certification doesn’t reveal much in terms of specs, but it does confirm that the device is approved for sale in India. In this case, the key detail is the model number RMX5107, which is being linked to the upcoming Realme P5 Pro. With this step done, Realme is free to start shipping and selling the phone whenever it’s ready.
That usually means the launch isn’t far off.
A Battery-Focused Phone
Yesterday’s teaser from Realme made it pretty clear what this phone is about. The brand didn’t show the device, but it leaned hard into the idea of battery life. Now, with a 10,000mAh capacity coming into the picture, that messaging finally makes sense.
In a market where even 6,000mAh batteries are starting to feel normal, jumping to 10,000mAh is a bold move.
Flipkart Is Likely to Be the Launch Partner
Realme also confirmed yesterday that this phone will be sold through Flipkart as part of its Flipkart Unique lineup. That means it won’t be available on other platforms when it launches.
There’s still no official launch date, but with teasers live and BIS certification now in place, the timing points toward a release sometime around Flipkart’s Republic Day sale window.
