Nothing has confirmed that its upcoming Phone (3a) Lite will debut on October 29 at 1 PM GMT (6:30 PM IST). The announcement came through a post on the company’s official X (formerly Twitter) account, which included a short teaser clip showing part of the phone’s back — revealing a familiar transparent look, but with a few noticeable changes.

A Single Glyph Light Takes the Spotlight
The teaser image shows the lower half of the phone in white, featuring a single dot LED placed at the bottom-right corner. The caption “Light up the everyday” suggests that this minimal Glyph light could serve basic functions like charging status or notifications. Unlike other Nothing models, there are no LED strips around the camera module or edges, signaling a stripped-down design for this entry-level variant.
This change aligns with earlier leaks pointing to a simplified Glyph system, helping Nothing lower costs while keeping its signature visual identity intact.
Key Specifications and Hardware Details
According to leaks, the Nothing Phone (3a) Lite will feature a 6.77-inch FHD+ AMOLED LTPS display with a 120Hz refresh rate, powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300 Pro chipset. It’s expected to ship with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, using LPDDR5X and UFS 2.2 standards.
The phone could include a 5000mAh battery supporting 33W fast charging, while the camera setup is rumored to include a 50MP main lens, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 32MP front camera. It’s also said to support 4K video recording at 30fps, and come with Gorilla Glass 5 protection and an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance.
Software and Features
The Nothing Phone (3a) Lite is expected to run Nothing OS 4.0 based on Android 16. It will include the recently introduced (and controversial) Lock Glimpse feature, along with a set of preloaded third-party apps and services.
Price and Availability
The Phone (3a) Lite will reportedly be available in white and black finishes, with an expected price between ₹21,999 and ₹23,999. Positioned below the standard Phone (3a), it aims to bring the Nothing design language to a wider audience at a more accessible price point.
With the official launch set for October 29 (6:30 PM IST), more details on regional availability and specifications are likely to follow in the coming days.
