This article contains spoilers from One Piece’s Elbaf arc.
One Piece chapter 1164 is just around the corner, and fans are eagerly waiting to see what Oda has to deliver this week, after an absolutely incredible chapter last week. As fans know already, One Piece is focusing on the events of God Valley at the moment, and Oda is making some massive reveals at the moment. As was quite clear in the previous chapter of the story, Oda finally explained to the fans how God Valley shaped up to be the way fans knew it.
When the God Valley Incident was first mentioned to the fans, it was stated that it was a fight between the Rocks Pirates and the duo of Roger and Garp. However, seeing Rocks as the protagonist of God Valley confused the fans quite a bit, until One Piece 1163, at the end of which Imu turned Rocks into his slave using Domi Reversi. One Piece chapter 1164 will focus on the incredible battle between Rocks D. Xebec and the duo of Roger and Garp, and fans absolutely cannot wait to see what Oda has to deliver in this chapter.
One Piece Chapter 1164 Will Show Rocks Vs Roger And Garp
The God Valley Incident Will Reach Its End
- Rocks D. Xebec could die
- Roger and Garp will be the winners
With Rocks D. Xebec having turned into a demon, fans will, undoubtedly, be witnessing a deadly battle between him and the team of Roger and Garp, just as Sengoku mentioned in One Piece chapter 957. Imu turned Rocks using Domi Reversi, and his goal is simple: to kill the last two remaining members of the Davy Clan, those being Eris and Teach.
Mu? Mu shall do nothing. Thou shalt kill thy wife and children! — Imu to Rocks D. Xebec
Rocks will have to kill his own family, and it certainly won’t be easy to stop him. Garp and Roger will have to join forces to kill Rocks, and it certainly won’t be easy, but One Piece chapter 1164 will give the fans just that.
Given that Oda has already spent a long time in God Valley, it is possible that One Piece chapter 1164 will mark the end of the God Valley Incident, which means Garp and Roger will likely defeat Rocks and save Eris and Teach. Meanwhile, the remaining members of the Rocks Pirates will likely flee God Valley after securing the treasure. It is unclear how Imu will be dealt with here, but fans will just have to see that for themselves once the chapter comes out.
Hey, King of Rats! Did you come here to kill me? — Rocks D. Xebec to Imu
Oda Will Continue The Loki Flashback After Rocks’s Death
The Rocks Pirates Will Split
As One Piece chapter 1164 marks the end of the story of Rocks, a new story will begin in the flashback. One Piece fans haven’t seen much from the likes of Harald or Loki for quite a while now, which is why Oda will likely turn towards them after God Valley. It is also likely that fans will see bits and pieces of Teach and Eris after the events of One Piece 1164, and show the fans how exactly their lives turned out. Fans also have to see how Eris ended up dying.
More than that, Shanks, Roger, Harald, and the others will most certainly continue the story in an interesting fashion, and it is likely that the pace of the story will increase from here on out. Either way, One Piece chapter 1164 is shaping up to be a tragic chapter that marks the end of one era, and the beginning of another.
One Piece’s next chapter will be out this week. As usual, One Piece is going to drop on Sunday. In Japan, One Piece drops at 12AM JST on Monday. However, the vast majority of international readers will see the chapter available on November 2. Fans can read the chapter for free on Manga Plus.
