India might finally be back in the conversation for Ultra flagship phones. According to tipster Debayan Roy, Oppo is planning to launch the Find X9 Ultra in India, something it skipped with its earlier Ultra models.
The same update also says the Xiaomi 17 Ultra and Vivo X300 Ultra are likely headed to India as well. All three phones are expected to launch globally, not just in China.
Oppo Find X9 Ultra: Camera-Centric As Ever
Early leaks suggest Oppo is once again leaning hard into camera hardware. The Find X9 Ultra is tipped to feature a dual 200MP camera setup, with one large main sensor focused on better low-light results. There’s also talk of a periscope-heavy zoom system, including native 10x optical zoom.
Beyond cameras, the phone is expected to run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, ship with Android 16-based ColorOS 16, and pack a battery larger than 7,000mAh with fast wired and wireless charging. A China launch is expected in Q1 2026.
Xiaomi 17 Ultra: Already Official In China
Xiaomi, meanwhile, has already launched the Xiaomi 17 Ultra in China. The phone runs on the same Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and focuses on imaging and battery life. It features a 6.9-inch LTPO AMOLED display, a 6,800mAh battery, and a Leica-tuned triple camera setup that includes a 200MP periscope telephoto lens.
With the device already showing up on India’s BIS listings, an Indian launch looks increasingly likely. Pricing in China starts at around Rs. 90,000, so it clearly sits in the ultra-premium bracket.
Vivo X300 Ultra Could Join The Party
The Vivo X300 Ultra is also tipped to launch in India, and early leaks suggest it won’t be a minor upgrade. The phone is said to run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, paired with a large 7,000mAh battery.
Vivo is reportedly going with a 6.82-inch flat LTPO AMOLED display with 2K resolution, along with a triple rear camera setup that includes two 200MP sensors and a 50MP ultra-wide lens.
If Vivo follows through, it would be unusual to see Oppo, Xiaomi, and Vivo all push their Ultra flagships into India around the same time.
