POCO is gearing up to unveil a new affordable smartphone in its M series in India next month. The POCO M8 Pro will likely be unveiled as the most premium smartphone in company’s M series to date.
POCO M8 Pro India Launch
While no official launch date for the POCO M8 Pro has been provided, we expect it to arrive in India sometime in the first couple of weeks of January 2026. However, a new leak has emerged, revealing the POCO M8 Pro’s complete specifications.
We expect the POCO M8 Pro price in India to start from under Rs 20,000, a substantial hike over its predecessor. Following its launch, the POCO M8 Pro will go on sale in India through Flipkart. Now, let’s dive into the full specifications of the upcoming POCO M8 Pro.

According to the leak, the POCO M8 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, making it the fastest M series phone to date. Additionally, it is expected to pack a massive 6,500mAh battery with 100W wired fast charging support.

It could also sport a large 6.83-inch Quad Curved AMOLED display with flagship-grade Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. Furthermore, the M8 Pro’s screen will feature a 120Hz refresh rate and a 1.5K (2772 x 1280 pixels) resolution, making it the best display on a POCO M series smartphone.
For optics, the POCO M8 Pro is expected to feature a dual rear camera setup that includes a 50MP primary sensor with OIS and an 8MP ultrawide lens. Additionally, it will also get a 32MP selfie camera up front. Ambhore’s post also reveals the phone will run on Android 15 with the HyperOS 2.0 skin on top.
Connectivity options on the upcoming POCO M8 Pro will include Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 5, and an IR Blaster. It will also feature an IP68 rating for resistance to dust and water. Finally, the POCO M8 Pro will weigh 207 grams, while coming in at 7.9mm thick.
