The Realme Neo 8 is set to make its debut in China this month. Realme has been gradually teasing specifications and the design of its upcoming, performance-oriented Neo 8 smartphone, although its full specifications are still under wraps. However, tipster Anvin (ZionsAnvin) recently leaked the full specifications of the Neo 8.
Realme Neo 8 Specifications
At its core, the Realme Neo 8 will be powered by Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, bringing top-tier CPU and GPU performance that should make the device capable in gaming, multitasking, and demanding workloads. It’s expected to launch with Android 16 out of the box, likely layered with Realme UI 7.
To complement the chip, Realme appears to be offering a very wide range of memory and storage options – with configurations including up to 24 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of onboard storage, which would put it among the most generously specced phones in its class.
Display rumours paint an equally impressive picture: a 6.78-inch flat Samsung AMOLED panel with 1.5K resolution and up to a 165 Hz refresh rate promises smooth scrolling and vibrant visuals, ideal for gaming and media. The Neo 8 is also tipped to include a triple rear camera system – headlined by a 50 MP main sensor, an 8 MP ultra-wide, and a 50 MP periscope telephoto unit, potentially enabling high-magnification zoom.
One of the standout features remains its massive battery, a 7,750 mAh rated cell advertised as 8,000 mAh, promising multi-day endurance. Realme plans on pairing this with 80 W wired fast charging, allowing for relatively quick top-ups despite the huge capacity. Other expected perks include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, IP-rated water/dust resistance, and high-speed connectivity like Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.
Realme Neo 8 Launch
The Realme Neo 8 is launching in China on January 12 at 02:30 pm local time or 12 pm IST. Those interested in watching the Realme Neo 8 event live can do so on the company’s official Weibo handle. Moreover, the Realme Neo 8 is expected to make its debut in India as the Realme GT 8.
With this mix of powerful silicon, generous memory options, eye-catching display specs, and endurance-focused battery technology, the Neo 8 looks poised to compete strongly in the value flagship segment.
