The Samsung Galaxy S26 series is expected to make its global debut next month. The line-up will include the Galaxy S26, S26 Plus, and S26 Ultra. While there is no official launch date for the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event, new information has emerged regarding its launch and availability.
Samsung Galaxy S26 Series Launch and Availability
According to a post by tipster Ice Universe, the Samsung Galaxy S26 series is launching in India and globally on February 25 at the company’s first Galaxy Unpacked event of 2026.
Following the launch, the Galaxy S26 series will be up for pre-order from February 26 to March 04, 2026. Furthermore, the pre-sale period will begin on March 5 and conclude on March 10. Finally, the tipster notes that the open sale for the Galaxy S26 series will begin on March 11.

According to the leak, the Samsung Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+ may be powered by either the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 or Exynos 2600 chipset, depending on the region. China and the US are likely to get the Snapdragon variant, while markets such as India could receive the Exynos version. Both models are expected to ship with 12GB RAM and run Android 16 with One UI 8.5.

The Galaxy S26 is tipped to feature a 6.3 inch flat LTPO M14 AMOLED display, while the S26+ could get a larger 6.7 inch panel. Both displays are expected to support a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and HDR10+. Build quality is said to include an IP68 rating, glass on both sides, and an aluminium frame, along with USB 3.2 connectivity.
Battery capacities are rumored at 4,300mAh for the Galaxy S26 and 4,900mAh for the S26+, with 25W and 45W wired charging respectively, plus Qi2 wireless charging. The camera setup on both phones is expected to include a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 12MP ultra wide camera, and a 12MP 3x telephoto lens with OIS.

According to recent leaks, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is shaping up to be the most powerful model in the S26 lineup. The phone may offer up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage, running Android 16 with One UI 8.5 for smooth multitasking and AI driven features.
The device is rumored to sport a 6.9 inch flat LTPO M14 AMOLED display with QHD+ resolution, a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, HDR10+, and peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits. Build quality remains premium with a titanium frame, Gorilla Glass Victus 3 on both sides, and an IP68 rating.
It could house a 5,500mAh silicon carbon battery with 45W wired, 15W Qi2 wireless, and 4.5W reverse wireless charging.
