The Tecno POVA Curve 2 is set to make its debut in India later today. The handset will succeed the Tecno POVA Curve 5G, which was unveiled in India last year. While Tenco has confirmed several details about the POVA Curve 5G, most specifications are still under wraps.

According to reports, the Tecno POVA Curve 2 price in India will fall anywhere between Rs 30,000 to Rs 35,000. The POVA Curve 2’s microsite also hints at this price range, which if accurate, will be a major bump over the original Tecno POVA Curve 5G, which fetched a starting price of Rs 15,999.

Tecno POVA Curve 2 5G Specifications (Expected)

The POVA Curve 2 will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 SoC paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Moreover, the handset is also expected to sport a 6.78-inch 1.5K Curved AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The handset will run Android 16 with the latest version of HiOS (HiOS 16) on top.

For optics, the POVA Curve 2 5G features a dual-camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. Up front, the phone could feature a 32MP selfie camera. Tecno has also confirmed the POVA Curve 2 5G will pack a massive 8,000mAh battery with 45W wired fast charging.

TECNO says the POVA Curve 2 5G battery package carries TÜV SÜD certification for long life, promising up to six years of durability. The company also cites operating tolerance from negative 20 degrees Celsius to 60 degrees Celsius. These numbers aim to position the phone as a long term daily driver, instead of something tuned for a short upgrade cycle.

TECNO keeps the POVA Curve 2 5G at 7.42mm and 195 grams. The device comes in Melting Silver, Storm Titanium and Mystic Purple, giving a more mainstream look than typical rugged models. TECNO includes IP64 dust and water resistance, SGS certified 1.5-meter drop protection and Gorilla Glass 7i on the front.
