This post contains spoilers for Jujutsu Kaisen.
Jujutsu Kaisen is unquestionably one of the biggest anime in the world, and it has managed to attain such heights within a short period of time. What’s astounding is the rate at which the series became popular. However, fans who have read or watched the series know that JJK deserves every last bit of praise.
Jujutsu Kaisen: Why Season 3 Will Have The Biggest Fights Yet
How is Jujutsu Kaisen aiming to go bigger than the Shibuya Incident? Only a huge battle royale set across the country, of course.
Gege Akutami obviously played a major role in the series’ success, as he wrote and drew the manga at the same time. MAPPA also deserves a lot of credit for producing an excellent adaptation that made Jujutsu Kaisen famous among mainstream anime viewers. Since the premiere of the first season, JJK has cemented itself as one of the best action anime of all time. Naturally, fans are thrilled to watch the third season, but it might not be long before the atmosphere changes completely.
Sentenced To Be A Hero Might Overshadow Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3
- Sentenced To Be A Hero has a great story
- The series also has excellent animation
On January 1, 2025, Kadokawa’s Sentenced To Be A Hero released its first episode. Before its debut, viewers wondered how quickly the anime would be forgotten and become obscure, as there wasn’t much hype surrounding it. In fact, people were confident that it was just going to be a bland anime, but they couldn’t have been more wrong. Following the anime’s premiere, viewers’ outlook changed, and they were completely mesmerized by its quality.
The first episode of Sentenced To Be A Hero was nearly an hour long and almost flawless. Everything from the pacing to the action sequences was phenomenal, which is why the length of the episode hardly made a difference. The animation quality was also outstanding, and it was abundantly clear that the staff at Studio Kai had poured their hearts and souls into creating the episode.
If the first episode of Sentenced To Be A Hero is a sign of things to come, then fans are in for an amazing journey. Additionally, if the anime manages to keep up the quality, it will outweigh Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3. Of course, it depends on Studio KAI and whether it has put in the same level of effort for the remainder of the first season. So far, only the first episode has been released, and there are still 11 more to go. Therefore, it’s safe to say fans will have a better idea once a few more episodes are released.
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 Will Be The Best One Yet
Whether Sentenced To Be A Hero overtakes Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 remains to be seen, but one thing is clear—the latter will be the best installment of the series to date. JJK Season 3 will cover the Culling Game arc, which is one of the most exciting arcs in the manga. It has plenty of fights, and MAPPA will do its best to make them as exciting as possible.
Fans will also get to see many new faces in the third season, and obviously, they will be heavily involved. Some of the new characters that will stand out in JJK Season 3 are:
- Naoya Zenin
- Kinji Hakari
- Hajime Kashimo
- Hiromi Higuruma
Aside from the aforementioned characters, there will be other individuals who will be debuting in the third season, but their names have been omitted to avoid ruining the hype.
Jujutsu Kaisen’s Third Season Will Showcase An Epic Battle Between Yuta And Yuji
Another highlight of the new season will be the epic battle between Itadori Yuji and Yuta Okkotsu. The latter was seen at the end of season 2, where he saved a kid from a cursed spirit. Naturally, viewers were thrilled to see the protagonist of JJK 0 in action, but the feeling faded away when Yuta revealed that his mission was to kill Itadori Yuji. If Gojo Satoru hadn’t been sealed away, the top brass at Jujutsu High would have never had the gall to try to kill Itadori Yuji.
But after the strongest sorcerer in the world was sealed away by Kenjaku, the higher-ups at Jujutsu High were able to exert their will freely. They had always opposed Itadori Yuji being made Sukuna’s vessel, and now they could get rid of him.
