VinFast Auto India, the Indian arm of global electric vehicle manufacturer VinFast, has achieved a key expansion milestone with 24 dealerships now operational across major Indian cities. This marks rapid progress toward the company’s stated goal of setting up 35 dealerships nationwide by December 2025 as it scales its retail and service footprint to support premium EV adoption in India.

The new showrooms follow the OEM’s global retail design standards, featuring modern layouts, dedicated display zones, and digital-first customer engagement areas. The network spans Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Surat, Pune, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, Nagpur, Agra, Ludhiana, Jaipur, Kochi, Bhubaneswar, Baroda, and Rajkot — giving prospective buyers a chance to experience its recently launched premium electric SUVs, the VF 6 and VF 7.
Mr. Tapan Ghosh, CEO, VinFast India, said, “Our goal is not just to sell EVs but to deliver an inspiring, customer-centric journey anchored in sustainability and innovation.”
To strengthen customer confidence and aftersales experience, VinFast has partnered with RoadGrid, myTVS, Castrol India, and Global Assure to create a nationwide ecosystem of charging, service, and roadside support.
A key pillar of its India strategy is the upcoming manufacturing plant in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu. Spread across 400 acres, the facility will assemble the VF 6 and VF 7 in Phase 1 with an annual capacity of 50,000 units, scalable to 150,000 units. Once fully operational, it is expected to generate 3,000–3,500 direct jobs and thousands more across the supply chain, reinforcing Tamil Nadu’s position as a rapidly growing EV production hub.
With all 35 dealerships on track to go live by the end of 2025, VinFast is building a strong network that integrates retail, charging, and after-sales services — ensuring a seamless EV ownership experience for Indian customers.
