Vivo is gearing up to bring its V70 series to India, with the Vivo V70 and Vivo V70 Elite already expected as part of the lineup. But it now looks like the company has more planned. An exclusive report from PassionateGeekz points to a third model quietly joining the mix, called the Vivo V70 FE.

The FE branding usually signals a slightly more accessible take on a series, and early details suggest this phone is designed to sit comfortably between the regular V70 and the Elite model, rather than feeling like a stripped-down option.
Familiar Design, Different Emphasis
Based on what’s surfaced so far, the Vivo V70 FE doesn’t appear to radically change Vivo’s visual approach. The design is said to resemble phones like the Vivo V50 Lite or devices from the Y400 series, which means a clean, familiar look rather than something experimental.
Where the FE starts to stand out is not how it looks, but what Vivo seems to be prioritising this time.
A 200MP Camera As The Main Talking Point
The biggest confirmation so far is around the camera. A promotional poster shared as part of the leak confirms a 200MP primary sensor on the Vivo V70 FE. That’s a clear signal that imaging is the headline feature here.
For the V-series, cameras have always been a core focus, but a 200MP sensor suggests Vivo wants the FE model to carry some real weight, at least on paper. There’s no word yet on the rest of the camera setup or how the sensor will be tuned, but the emphasis is clearly on high-resolution photography.
Storage Options Are Already Locked In
The leak also reveals that the Vivo V70 FE will be offered in two configurations: 8GB RAM with 256GB storage, and 12GB RAM with 256GB storage. Notably, there’s no mention of a lower storage variant, which could indicate Vivo is positioning the FE as a more premium mid-range option rather than an entry-level V-series phone.
Other hardware details are still less certain. The phone is said to be aligned closely with the Vivo V70 5G in some areas, including a large battery and fast charging support, but these details haven’t been fully confirmed yet.
Geekbench Listing Suggests The Launch Is Getting Closer
Adding to the picture, the Vivo V70 FE has appeared on Geekbench with the model number V2550. The listing shows the phone running Android 16 and configured with 8GB of RAM.
While benchmarks don’t reveal everything, this kind of listing usually shows up closer to launch. Performance expectations seem to be focused on smooth day-to-day use rather than raw power, similar to what Vivo has delivered with phones like the V60 Lite.
